Fantastic experience: My husband and I hired Tina as a day-of coordinator for our wedding this past October, and we could not be happier that we did. Fantastic experience: We worked with Tina and Pineapple Events to plan our October 2025 wedding, and had a really positive experience! As an Ontario-based couple with the majority of our guests travelling in from out of province, it was such a relief to have someone with strong local knowledge and relationships guiding us through the process. Fantastic experience: Pineapple Eventworks is owned and operated by Tina who I have gotten to know over the past few years. We are in a networking group together and during this time I have seen her high level of professionalism and vast amount of knowledge in her industry. Last year she did an event we had and the balloon arch she made was fantastic and for sure the attention grabber for the event! Fantastic experience: I used Tina's planning and bar services for my wedding a few weeks ago and would have felt lost without her input! We hosted the wedding (about 80 guests) at my parent's home so all of the planning, rentals, and decor was organized by us. Tina and team were invaluable to ensuring that nothing got missed and bringing my vision to life! The package I opted for included some planning meetings ahead of time which were really helpful for me to stay organized and see what needed to be done. Her expertise was very evident and she would bring up important things to include or consider that I had not even thought of. Tina and her team were essential to setting everything up the day of and keeping us all on track and everything on schedule. Fantastic experience: Tina was a pleasure to work with and an absolutely essential part of hosting a wedding and welcome BBQ at our home. Every detail was considered - the planning meetings, flow of guests, timeline documents, vendor follow-up and of course on-site work on the day was perfect. There is simply no way we could have DIY'd this ourselves. Additionally, the bar service was great and last minute items were just taken care of by Tina and the team.

Fantastic experience: Tina and her team's effort on our wedding day was effortless. We hired them for their wedding day coordinating services, and that worked great for us. I was able to lean on them during the planning stage for advice or references, and she asked insightful questions to help with the prep. Leading up to, I was able to hand off my plans and had complete trust that things were well taken care of. From ceremony to last call, Tina ensured everything ran incredibly on time and smoothly. Not having to worry about details myself (as the bride) on the actual day was such a gift, and so worth it.

Fantastic experience: Tina and her crew were amazing to work with. Tina helped organize our back-yard wedding, which was a fabulous party with a BBQ, bouncy castle, even an ice cream truck and a coffee truck. Her easy-going demeanor hides a relentless focus on details, and on ensuring events go off without a hitch. I also hired Tina and Pineapple to help with a corporate event I hosted. Her staff were professional and fun, and she really makes sure that the day was a success. When a late change in the forecast brought rain, she went and bought umbrellas. She worked with the vendors and rental company to fix a few things that she felt were not perfect. We had such a fun day, and Tina was a big part of that! HIGHLY recommend her services for weddings but for so much more!!!

Fantastic experience: I'm not even sure where to start, we had such an exceptional experience working with Tina as our day of coordinator! She is professional, organized, efficient, and a superb communicator. As a very type-A bride I wasn't sure I would find someone I could trust completely to take the reins on our big day, but I knew immediately after meeting Tina she would have us covered and she did. Tina's team is also EXCELLENT! We used her bartenders who did a fabulous job, and Tina's lovely assistant made sure the bride, groom and family were always attended to. Fantastic experience: I've had the pleasure of working with Tina and the Pineapple team on many events, both large and small, and I am continuously impressed by their professionalism, expertise and ability to pivot and roll with the punches (especially with the unpredictability of a pandemic, floods, etc). We hired them for month of coordination services and it was incredibly helpful to have her step in and take over the week prior to our wedding to coordinate with our vendors and logistics. Tina was very organized and proactive in reaching out to vendors and ensured we stayed on top of the items that we needed to complete during the planning process. She was quick to respond to emails and texts. The day-of was a breeze with Tina and her team. We didn't have any issues with the logistics of our day and we were able to enjoy the day knowing that Tina and her team were on the ground taking care of everything for us. Positive experience: Tina and Amanda did a wonderful job pulling off our wedding even in the most dire circumstances. We got married during hurricane Lea, with no power, and they worked with our families to make sure we had backup options and worked to make sure we still had the most incredible day. We are beyond grateful to them and definitely recommend them as day of coordinators. The only reason I can’t give them 5/5 stars is because they missed the most important decorative detail to me in the chaos. I lost my step mother while we were engaged and planned to have a reserved chair in the front row with a sign that said “reserved for those watching from Heaven” and a bouquet on it. This was not put out for the ceremony at all and was instead later found in a corner (set up by me the previous day but not put out for the ceremony). Despite them missing this detail, they still did a very good job throughout the day and we are extremely grateful to them for pulling off our wedding when at times it seemed like it may not happen at all. If I could give 4.5 I would! Thanks Tina and Amanda, we appreciate you so much!

Fantastic experience: We hired Pineapple Eventworks to help with partial planning for our wedding this June, which included month of and day of coordination. Tina and Amanda helped us tour, find, and secure our wonderful venue and they took care of site visits and liaisons with the venue when we moved out of province! They also had numerous wonderful recommendations for all other vendors and helped us find and secure our hair stylist, makeup artist, our gluten free and vegan cake, cupcakes, and florist. They were easy to communicate with, answered any and all of our questions, and really took care of all the last minute details and coordinating with all of the vendors which made our wedding month and day so much easier! It allowed us to just enjoy it and spend time with our friends and family without worrying about the schedule or any of the details. It also made it possible for our friends and family to just enjoy the celebration! We highly recommend working with Tina and Amanda if you need a wedding or event planner! They know all the ins and outs of the wedding scene in Nova Scotia and can provide many connections and recommendations of local businesses to work with and support. Tina and Amanda work well together as a team and compliment each other's skills! As a queer couple, with many friends and family in the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, we felt that they were accepting and inclusive.

Fantastic experience: Tina has been fantastic with helping plan and organize our day. We hired her for consulting as with our venue we have a day of coordinator. What started off as 1-3 questions for us turned into many many more. Tina always had the answers with prompt communication, great insight to vendors and sent documents that helped us with the final details. If you are looking for a planner, coordinator, or help with consulting look no further. We are very happy Tina was recommended to us and it was a true delight having her support throughout the journey. Our wedding will be in PEI and she even had a lot of information for planning on the island! Honestly, Tina and Pineapple Eventworks are the way to go. Thank you again for everything.

Fantastic experience: We hired Pineapple Eventworks to partially plan our wedding, including co-ordination on the day. We live abroad and could not have seamlessly planned everything without their guidance, advice, and expertise. They showcased their experience and knowledge throughout the entire process, thinking of various details that did not even cross our minds. They helped with making suggestions for planning within our budget, timeline creation, and recommending and sourcing vendors, to name the least. Not only did we have regular virtual calls, they always replied to my multitude of emails or text messages in a timely manner as well. If there were any hiccups that arose throughout the process, they dealt with the issues professionally. They also truly showcased their creativity and eye-for-detail to bring together our vision on the day. Amanda understood what we wanted and was an absolute queen organising it all in the lead-up to and on the day (including, executing the back-up plan for the rain). The wedding planning process was so enjoyable with them, I truly did not have to worry! You would not be making a mistake if you chose them to help plan your event, as their warmth and friendliness as individuals is just the icing on the cake. Fantastic experience: Hiring Pineapple was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Tina was able to provide great advice in the lead up and helped us build out a timeline with everything planned out down to the minute. Amanda went over and above on the wedding day to ensure we could enjoy our day without stress. She and Alyssa brought such great energy and were so fun to have around. Fantastic experience: My wife and I retained Tina and her staff at Pineapple Eventworks for month- and day-of coordination of our wedding, and it was 100% one of the best decisions we made with respect to the wedding. Tina's care and guidance were invaluable and did so much to make our two-day wedding a smooth ride for all involved. She went above and beyond in contacting potential alternative venues when the weather forecast was not looking good in the days immediately before the wedding, and she was an absolute trooper when we decided to stick with the outdoor ceremony. Everything looked stunning, and Tina and her crew were very efficient with set-up, take-down, and helping belongings get back to where they needed to be. They helped keep everything on schedule and did a great job of helping make in-the-moment decisions as certain parts of the schedule needed to be adjusted, particularly during the reception. We also really appreciated how willing Tina was to work with us to arrange conference calls at later hours due to large timezone differences in the planning stages. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Long story short - Tina and Pineapple Eventworks saved our wedding! Our wedding date was July 22, 2023, the day of the historic rainfall and flash flooding that washed out many roads and other critical infrastructure across HRM. Tina worked directly with our bridal party (taking a lot of stress off of us) to make a plan to move our wedding to the following day. She called and rescheduled all the vendors and staff we had booked and handled many challenges and last-minute issues with grace. What would have been a nightmare for us to deal with was actually an extra day to relax and enjoy time with loved ones before our wedding. Many people asked me how we handled the stress of moving our wedding an entire day, and I was so grateful to say I didn’t have to because Tina took care of every detail. We were very happy to have her during this unusual situation, but working with Tina throughout the wedding planning process and in the final weeks leading up to the wedding was what made everything turn out perfect on the big day. She is so calm, has incredible advice to offer, and brings her A-game every time. I was grateful to have her to bounce ideas off of and make sure I was on the right track with deadlines. In several instances, she brought up things I wouldn’t have thought of until the last minute (or at all). Tina’s has a great eye for design. I had rented items from One Day Affair (also highly recommend) and I hadn’t put much thought into where I wanted everything to go. I told Tina to just do her thing, and she certainly did - everything was gorgeous - from the entrance to the reception area to the dinner tables. Her staff are also great to work with, including her right hand gal Amanda who lead us through a rehearsal in the pouring rain with a smile on her face. As I said, Tina saved our wedding. I cannot say enough good things about her. We are continuing to hear from our guests how beautiful and organized our wedding was. You deserve to enjoy your wedding day stress-free, and you will if you hire Pineapple Eventworks!

Fantastic experience: Could not recommend more. Tina and Amanda did everything they could to make sure our wedding rehearsal and wedding day went perfectly. Their experience was evident from the first meeting when they were thinking of details that would not have occurred to us. We couldn’t have planned the wedding and had it executed so smoothly without them. They were also so fun and kind and caring to have around on the wedding day, it wouldn’t have been the same without them! They were totally up for all of our ideas and made them happen even on short notice. Truly a fantastic experience working with them!

Fantastic experience: We originally reached out to Tina and her team as we were in need of bartenders about a month before our wedding. We ended up hiring wedding coordniation along with the bartenders. Our wedding was outside the city, and Tina was more than happy to work with us there. I cannot say enough positive things about Tina and Amanda. They ensured every detail was perfect. The day flowed and went unbelievably smooth with them coordinating. Reflecting back, having Tina and Amanda there was the best investment that we made. They relieved an enormous amount of stress and gave me peace of mind surrounding the entire day. They were attentive to my vision, easy to work with, responsive, supportive, professional, and very helpful. We also received a bunch of compliments on the bartenders from our guests! They were lovely to work with through the cocktail hour and into the reception.

Fantastic experience: Tina was amazing! We were planning our wedding from overseas for the third time, due to Covid-19, and the stress of it all got a bit much. Tina was able to step in and take the reins without missing a beat. She was organised, solutions based and easily placed with vendors on the Island (PEI). She was able to our ideas into reality and quick to handle last minute aesthetic issues with our venue. On our day, we did not have to think of a thing. We could enjoy making memories with our family and friends without any stress.

Fantastic experience: On a beautiful summer day in early August, Doug and I were married in Halifax at St. Columba Chapel at the Atlantic School of Theology, followed by a reception at St. Mary’s Boat Club. It was a perfect day! My dream of a fairytale wedding came true thanks to Tina Lesyk of Pineapple Eventworks. From our first meeting with Tina seven months before our wedding, I knew she was special and would be an important part of our wedding. She took the time to get to know Doug and me as a couple, and what was important to us in planning our wedding. Tina listened to our every request and was so enthusiastic about all our ideas including an authentic Italian menu by local chef Claudio Pontorno, a boat entrance to the reception at the boat club, wedding bonbonnieres shipped from Italy, hydrangea trees in the chapel (inspiration from the trees at Kate Middleton’s wedding!), and last minute dance classes… just to name a few :) I know there was a lot of behind the scenes work on Tina’s part to make many of these requests come to life, and we really appreciate this. Tina is very well connected and knew which vendors to call for all of our wedding ideas. Having Tina’s professional support (especially in the final days and hours) leading up to the wedding was vital. She was always just a call or text away! Tina is exceptionally organized and she thought of things we never would have. Tina’s expert planning resulted in our beautiful wedding and we will forever be grateful to her for all she did for us. Tina also has an amazing team who were equally lovely to work with. Tina’s assistant Amanda was so sweet and helpful in planning the details of our event. And the servers and bartenders were so friendly and kind- we had many wedding guests comment on this and it just really felt so nice to be surrounded by such a happy team on our wedding day. Fantastic experience: We hired Tina for month of coordination for our wedding and could not have been more thankful to have her! She met with us multiple times virtually leading up to the wedding and answered all of our questions and made sure that we stayed organized. Fantastic experience: We hired Tina and Team on our big day in May of 2022. The wedding venue was at Farm South Cove. We were so thankful for the whole team from the bartenders, and servers, to Tina and Amanda. We had the unfortunate event of a lot of rain and issues with the tent, but Tina and everyone involved handled it without me knowing. So thankful for that! I was a happy bride with no worries. Guests said the bartenders and servers were attentive and kind. We had a three course dinner for 140 ish and an open bar with cocktails. Everything went so smoothly. Tina is organized, reliable, and thoughtful. Everything you’d want in someone planning and/or executing your big event. She knows what she’s doing! Hire her and the team if you want peace of mind!! Fantastic experience: If we had to do it all over again, we would choose to work with Pineapple Eventworks again in a heartbeat. Tina planned a Bijou Micro wedding for us and we could not have been happier with the entire experience. We loved the Bijou Micro wedding offering because it allowed us the intimacy of a small wedding without compromising on any of the other details. Tina’s years of experience in the industry showed as every aspect was handled with professionalism and care for our preferences, making for an entirely stress-free experience for us leading up to, and on our wedding day. We gave them very limited direction with our intimate wedding planned for July 2022, and they absolutely ran with it to create our perfect day. We only gave them a few months to help us plan, and they made the whole process stress free. Aside from keeping in touch virtually, they also planned in-person site visits and were willing to have as many meetings as needed for us to be confident. Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough about how happy I am with the service provided by Pineapple Eventworks. Tina and Amanda were both wonderful to work with. Amanda was our "day of" coordinator and I would not have made it through the most memorable day of my life without her. She thought of things I would never think of and just knew what had to happen. Fantastic experience: Tina and her staff were a part of our wedding vendors on July 24th. We were married at my family home in our backyard. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. The bar staff poured drinks until 11 PM and kept the bar clean and organized; they took very good care of the rental items. I would highly recommend hiring Pineapple Events to bartend your event because my guests and I were able to have fun and drink socially without worrying about the details on the day of. Fantastic experience: Tina and her assistant Amanda were wonderful. Tina added all the final touches and kept everything moving smoothly on our big day. I later found out that she gentled nudged guests to socialize in a specific area in preparation for our surprise entrance by boat! So many people said they would have missed it if it wasn't for her. Fantastic experience: Our DIY wedding went 100% smoother because we had staff from Pineapple on site day-of taking care of all the details! We were able to just focus on our day and didnt have to worry about if the dinner rolls made it on to the table, or if we were running out of ice at the bar. Tina was awesome to work with - very straightforward and to the point, offered tons of insight and feedback on our plans in a very helpful way, and her staff were professional and reliable. Fantastic experience: We hired Tina Lesyk of Pineapple Works to be our day-of-wedding coordinator to plan a wedding with 150 guests. When the Covid pandemic hit, Tina quickly pivoted and helped us envision a completely different event, that was suited to that difficult situation. Despite the environmental chaos and constantly changing regulations, Tina was the perfect, cool guide and helper we needed to be able to design, implement and enjoy our wedding.

Thank goodness we decided to hire Pineapple and not try to guilt a family member into setting it all up! I can't say enough good things about how awesome everything went other than AMAZING!
