Fantastic experience: Linda did such a fantastic job at both our ceremony and reception venues! I was told by some other companies that the vision I wanted at Saxe Point could not be done -- I don't like to take no for an answer and neither does Linda She seamlessly brought our vision to life for our fusion wedding and did so at such great price points! She really sourced out everything we wanted right down to the pink sashes I wanted draped on the chairs! Everything looked incredibly elegant and beautiful just how we wanted it. Can't recommend her enough. P.S. They were also kind enough to give us a ride to our reception venue when we were accidentally left behind by our families haha !

Fantastic experience: Highly, highly recommend Designer Weddings (DW) for wedding furnishings! Linda was an absolute pleasure to work with and instantly understood my vision for a bright, boldly coloured wedding. We hired DW to do pavilion draping for our ceremony and to completely deck-out the reception hall at the Prestige Oceanfront Resort (wall and ceiling draping, rotating disco balls, uplights, photobooth balloon wall with a neon sign, chair covers, candles and glass containers). It was a big project and the team really delivered, exceeding my already high expectations. We’ll be recommending DW to all our friends and ordering from here for any future party furnishing needs! Fantastic experience: Linda was an absolute visionary and a Godsend. Hire her and her team. We came to Linda near the beginning of wedding planning. We had been planning a bit on our own and were getting pretty overwhelmed with all the details and decisions involved. Linda immediately became our guiding light through the planning process. She simplified and scoped so many of the overwhelming decisions we had to make, by focusing us on the things that mattered, the things that were realistic, and things we could afford. She is a creative genius. With little direction Linda walked around the venue to ideate the placement of furniture, the spaces where different parts of the day would take place, and gorgeous decor ideas to integrate into the space. She designed and constructed the most lovely atmosphere for our special day. She is deeply caring. You can feel it when you interact with her. Linda cares deeply about her clients, about building her clients their perfect wedding, about love and people in general. She is just a wonderful energy that makes you feel reassured during a time of stressful decision making. I recommend Linda 100%. She was a dream to work with and we are eternally thankful for her help.

Fantastic experience: Linda worked with our designer to create an absolutely breathtaking draping display at our wedding. We recieved so many compliments and the drapes completely transformed our reception space. Linda was so friendly and easy to work with. We would highly recommend to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely 100% outstanding!!! Linda met with myself and my mom for a consultation about 9 months before my wedding. She had some great ideas and spent time with us to talk through my vision for my day. I was able to add things to my order as my plans developed. Which was wonderful. I took the option for delivery and pick-up to the wedding location, and it was perfect!! Everything I had ordered!! Linda was great on her communication and availability!! I would use her again and have recommended her to many other brides.

Fantastic experience: Would highly recommend Designer Weddings! I was having a hard time on some final decor decisions for our wedding space and Linda was wonderful to work with. She made time to come to the space and go through what I was thinking and offer suggestions. We ended up switching gears to what she thought fit the space best and I am SO glad we did. It was absolutely beautiful and everything I could have wanted in the end. Even after the set up, there was a small piece I wasn't in love with and she made time to come back and switch it out to ensure we were happy with everything on our big day. She doesn't price gauge and is very up front with ways to be budget friendly. Linda is absolutely the sweetest. Would definitely use her again!

Fantastic experience: Linda (and her husband Doug, can’t forget Doug) are so lovely. Linda knew exactly what we needed and what we didn’t know we needed. She’s very organized, has thought of everything and is very transparent. She is easy to communicate with whether over phone or email with a very quick response time which trust me, when it’s closer to the event date is huge. She provides an invaluable service at a very reasonable price. It’s hard to find good decorations for events but if you’ve found Linda look no further, she will turn your event up to 11. I recommend without question, thank you for everything Linda.

Fantastic experience: We had the privilege of working with Linda and her team for our wedding at Bear Mountain in August 2021. She took the time to listen to what we wanted, and used her experience to offer alternatives/options that we may not have otherwise considered with minimal pressure. The end result was more than we could have ever hoped for! Covid threw us a lot of curveballs planning a wedding, and Linda was always flexible and assuring when it came to the constant changes. Bear Mountain was undergoing major renovations right up until our wedding day, and Linda even came to meet us at the venue to make sure her vision aligned with ours perfectly. She showed us professionalism, was punctual, and truly delivered the wedding of our dreams.

Unfortunately we had to cancel everything in the end, but she was very responsive and refunded our deposit within a hour of letting her know we could not proceed! Fantastic experience: Linda Payne of Designer Weddings Inc is incredible. She is hands down the most helpful & accommodating designer/decorator that I have ever worked with. My friend hired Designer Weddings for her Wedding August 2019 and did a spectacular job with the decor at the Delta Ocean Pointe Hotel. I then hired her for a family event (January 2020) and I cannot say enough good things about her. First off, I don't live in Victoria and she was so accommodating with emails, photo examples, phone calls and more. She made a stressful task of planning this event from afar seamless. She offered amazing insight/experience and was willing to work within my budget and help make this the perfect dinner. In an industry where everything is so costly, she really makes an effort to come up with cost effective options! Linda Payne is wonderful and does amazing work whether it is a small event (like my family dinner) or a large event (like my friend's wedding). I would definitely recommend Linda/Designer Weddings for your next event, you will not be disappointed!!

Fantastic experience: We got married this August at the Inn at Laurel Point. The hotel was undergoing some major renovation near the terrace and ballroom where the ceremony and reception were taking place. Linda proactively came to check out the site the week before and did a beautiful job decorating the place that we barely noticed the construction in the background. The decoration came together so beautifully and exceeded our expectations. Thank you Linda and team!

Fantastic experience: Linda was fabulous to work with for our wedding! What a lovely family business they have. Designer Weddings offer a wide variety of rental items for a very reasonable cost. Make sure you contact them directly about things you might need -- not all the rental items are on the website yet or some rental items could be in the process of being made (it looks like they are constantly adding to their collection!) My husband and I had a beach themed wedding and they had everything we needed (shells, fish nets, sand boxes and more). Linda was so communicative and flexible about the changes that we needed to make throughout our wedding planning process. Pick up of decor was so easy, too! We borrowed decor for approx 1 week. Thank you so much!!

Fantastic experience: Linda and her team did an incredible job at our wedding recently at the Prestige Resort in Sooke, the backdrop of lights were SO beautiful and absolutely everything was set up in advance and taken down by her with no thought required from us. I held it together during the wedding day, but I did cry the night before when I looked in the ballroom and saw what Linda had put together for us. Can't recommend her highly enough! Thanks Linda!

Fantastic experience: We planned our Sooke wedding from Nanaimo and made our vendor selections online which can be nerve racking to say the least. From the moment that we met Linda our minds were set at ease. Linda is very warm, friendly and most of all calming! She listened attentively to our vision for our wedding and in no time was pulling together the elements to make our vision a reality. A very important part of the vision was the design of the ceremony site. I had originally thought that my dreams were larger than our budget but had saved a photo of what I liked and showed it to Linda. I was blown away when she said that she was able to give us what we wanted and keep it within our budget! Throughout the planning process Linda was quick to respond to all of my questions and requests. Her prices are very reasonable and payment schedule was very fair. On the big day the decorations at our ceremony and reception sites were exquisite and exactly what we had asked for and I cannot say enough how happy we both are with Linda, her professionalism and for making our wedding day dreams come true!

Fantastic experience: We had our wedding and Olympic View and it was a beautiful event, they did a great job of the set up and take down with minimum coordinate from me (the bride- always a good thing). We also had them decorate the golf cart that ferried people to and from the ceremony site which was a huge hit and made cute photos. They were also very flexible and open to accommodating our requests within our budget! I would suggest this company to anyone planning an event in the future.
