Expérience fantastique: I am (3) months late writing my review BUT better late than never, right? I also just got our photos, so I can attach a couple now. My now husband and I had decided we wanted a small wedding that would be a nicer alternative to city hall. Then someone mentioned the term "micro wedding" to me so I searched Google and ultimately came across the UY website. I contacted them to obtain more information and asked to come check it out. We met with Rebecca and booked on the spot! We purchased their elopement package with a couple add-ons. The UY studio is just a PERFECT little place to have a perfect little wedding!! The decor is lovely, especially the little lounge room with the couch / chairs where I used to hide before the wedding and have some photos taken ♥ Rebecca was excellent to work and communicate with - very happy and "yours enthusiastically" as her email signature said :-) Our communication was mainly through email. She was on top of the details always ready to answer my questions - even a couple stupid ones I threw her way. Our ceremony went fantastic and the Officiant that UY connected us with (Sam "Tall" Vander Schelde) was also excellent. The only disappointing thing was that I couldn't hear the music when I went to walk down the aisle - not sure what happened there - but - if that is the only thing to go wrong in a wedding - then I am lucky! As we were only there for 2 hours it went quickly. We didn't have any food, just the sparkling wine toast and some tasty infused water and went on our way, but I highly recommend this place as they really know what they are doing and make the wedding experience very easy. They pay close attention to the details, and have some valuable wedding prep materials available on their website too. It was an overall great experience! Thank you, Rebecca and UY ♥

Having attended many weddings without wedding coordinators (and even some with that did not meet my expectations), I knew I needed a day-of coordinator that could confidently handle anything that would come up. After being a bridesmaid for my friend's wedding where she hired UY, I saw how much of a difference the team made and made the decision then and there that it would be UY, or no one else! Emma and Naura were my day-of coordinators, and even though the title of the position says "day-of", they supported me from the very beginning of the planning process to the wedding day! I was able to schedule meetings to brainstorm and troubleshoot planning. They had suggestions about preferred vendors that were really helpful and even found solutions when one of my vendors cancelled last minute! In the month leading up to the wedding, they helped me address tasks that I didn't even think existed in the first place which made the day of run that much more smoothly! On the wedding day, Emma and Naura were always present but not distracting, always ready to provide whatever myself, my husband, or the wedding party with that they needed. That might sound unrealistic but day of we stuck to that schedule very well! She kept us on track in the months leading up to the wedding, and fought for what we wanted when we needed somebody to. We’ve had tons of people ask if there were any problems on the day of, and every time the answer is the same, “if we did we had no idea because Amy dealt with it.” She was one step ahead of us the entire day and was nothing but supportive throughout the whole journey. Expérience fantastique: Stella at Unmistakably You is a primary reason why we were able to enjoy and be present on our wedding day, and hiring her was one of the best investments we made for it! We hired a coordinator in the last few months before our wedding because I was quickly realizing that regardless of me planning everything down to the tiniest detail, I was not going to be able to oversee it myself on the day to make sure it did all happen. We had a venue coordinator and other help but no one whose purpose and priority was really to make sure WE were happy and taken care of. From quickly answering countless emails and questions leading up to the big day, to asking all the questions we wouldn't have even thought of, to finishing décor setup we didn't have time to get to the night before, to checking in on both of us pre ceremony to bring food and encouragement - she had our backs making sure we were happy with how everything was going and it was such a relief to have her support. Weddings are expensive so it's understandable that another cost may not seem needed but for me I realized it was the way to make sure ALL of the money in total we were spending on the day was well spent. We can't thank Stella enough for helping make our wedding day one of the happiest and stress free days of our lives.

Expérience fantastique: My husband and I got married at a full-service venue that included an event coordinator and so I was initially unsure whether the additional support of a day-of coordinator was necessary. Post-wedding, I can confidently say that hiring Amy and her team for day-of coordination was the best wedding-related decision we made. In my opinion, day-of coordination by UY is a way to protect the significant investment associated with hosting a wedding. Amy and her team managed a number of mini-crises so that our families and close friends could relax and enjoy the day. Things go wrong at even the most meticulously-planned weddings (e.g. late decor deliveries, food allergy confusion, missing performer, wardrobe malfunction, upset stomach, last-minute ceremony location change etc.) and I loved not having to worry, knowing that we had dedicated, professional, and fun people on our side who would manage the unpredictable. Truly a fantastic service and so worth the investment.

There were a few small things that came up during our big day, but she was right there with solutions and her sewing kit as needed. I am a highly organized person and while I had many of our wedding details already worked out, there is a lot to be said about letting professionals handle your most important day. Amy also incorporated all of our little details and special requests. She ensured that the schedule ran on time and that everything flowed perfectly. This was very important to me. Amy even handled some unexpected items that we didn’t know about (ex. one of our guests had a medical issue during dinner service) and she was on top of everything. She kept us informed at the appropriate time, made sure that our guest was ok (that meant a lot to us) and ensured that we were able to enjoy our wedding and be fully present. Throughout the entire planning process they were available to bounce any ideas/ questions off of and were quick with replies. As we got closer and closer to our wedding day, Amy provided such valuable day of details that I felt at ease. Amy also worked her magic when our bouquets were delivered and not what we had discussed or envisioned. She jumped into action and whisked them away to another florist and fixed them! Even 3 months after our wedding, Amy still helped us finally get the digital copies of the photos from the photobooth at our wedding. The vendor was supposed to send them shortly after the event, and was not responding to any of our communication efforts. We had lost all hope of ever getting them, but I reached out to Amy and she stepped in and made sure the issue was resolved. Without her persistence, I don't think we'd have these photos. Thank you so much Amy!!!!

Expérience fantastique: Simply the best wedding planner in London. Full stop. End of Story. No question. Ok, so our wedding was in May of 2022. It is now November of 2022. Why hasn't there been a review posted before now? Because we are extremely disorganized people who procrastinate way too much. Do you know who doesn't? Amy from Unmistakably You. Without her, our wedding would not have happened. This is not hyperbole, this is fact. She put up with so much from us. In addition to the above personality traits, and despite being based in London, we had our wedding in St Catherine's/Niagara. It didn't matter that she was less familiar with that area, she didn't skip a beat. She has contacts everywhere and by the time she found us 2 amazing venues (outdoor ceremony, indoor reception), and a local officiant who matched our energy perfectly, you would never have known she didn't know the area as well as London. She made sure that everything was taken care of and she knew her stuff just as if it was right here in London. We had to delay our wedding TWICE, for 2 years, due to COVID. No problem. Amy took care of it, negotiated and coordinated with vendors. When we had to change photographers, she found us an even better one. Our videographer was similarly recommended by Amy and we are beyond thrilled with what he did as well. She has so many contacts in the wedding business, and the ones she maintains are all first class people to work with. If she steers you towards someone, you know they will be great, but more often then not she will give you a choice of 5 or more that you can match your personality and feelings to theirs. Even the ones we didn't choose we could see were first rate people. In terms of our vision, we wanted a bouncy castle and a live band at the reception, an outdoor ceremony, cats and dragonflies to feature prominently in the decorations along with lots of purple, and so many other quirky requests. No problem, she just figured it out and at the end of the day our vision came to life in a more amazing way then we thought possible. Amy understands how to balance vision with tried and tested wedding staples to create a wedding that touches the fantasies of even the quirkiest people, while still making the guests and wedding party happy. She offers advise and experience while always listening to the vision you want for your special day. She is one of those people who, despite being extremely logical and organized, understand feeling and vision, and can marry the two together like no one I have met. Amy had schedules not just for the day of, but for the months leading up as well. She had a full binder of information on our wedding, all immaculately organized, that she could immediately look up if we or our vendors had questions. She knows when things need to be done by to be successful and is not afraid to make sure everyone follows and does their part. If a vendor was late or even not responding quickly enough, she did the harassing so we didn't have to. She coordinated all the vendors so well that we could focus on making the choices we needed to to get all the stuff we wanted in the wedding. On the day of, she kept everything running so smoothly, that it truly let us focus on each other and enjoying the day. No matter how much we had crammed into the day, Amy kept it running so smooth. She kept people on time, and kept us carefree. Even though there was a long long list of things that Amy made better in our lives, her day-of services alone was worth the price of admission on Amy's services. It all just worked, but it only worked thanks to Amy and Unmistakably You. Hopefully this review steers you towards this fabulous wedding coordinator and human being in 2023 and beyond, so that your day can be as wonderful as our was. (On a side note - Amy if you are reading this, we are so sorry it took this long to write you the review you deserved for making our day as amazingly perfect as it was. Expérience fantastique: When I started planning our wedding at our family pond, I knew I would need someone to help with all of the finishing details & tasks on the wedding day. There was just no way I could do it on my own. So I googled "day of coordinator near me" and Unmistakably you popped up. I reached out and had meeting with Amy who explained the entire process. After that meeting, it was a no brainer that this would be a life saver and would take so much stress off my back so I can enjoy our day. Even though I hired a day of coordinator, Unmistakably you checks in during your entire planning process and sends emails to ensure you are on track. I met with Emma and her assistant Regan a month before the wedding to go over all of the details and immediately felt 100 times better going into our final month of planning. Emma and Regan came to the pond for our rehearsal the day before the wedding and assisted with that, which was so helpful. It was also a great to give them the final tour and go over any last minute things. On my wedding day, I felt so calm. I had no worries at all, that all of the details at the pond were being taken care of. If anything went wrong, I didn't hear about it! Which I love. Emma was in contact with my maid of honor with any last minute questions. Emma came and checked on us at the air b&b and dropped off our lunch and made sure the rings and marriage license were to the right people. The ceremony went so smoothly and it was so perfect. It was an overcast day, but I had no worries at all about rain. All of the little details were taken care of by Emma and Regan Flowers were moved from the ceremony site to the reception site, candles were lit, any vendor questions were answered, the card box was emptied and put in a safe spot, and a million other things! I can't recommend Unmistakably You enough. I don't think my day would have gone so smooth without them and my stress levels would have been much higher without them guaranteed! Thank you so so much for everything Emma and Regan!. Our wedding day was perfect and I thank you both for a huge part of that!

She was flexible on when she would meet with us, and communicated really well. She can patiently manage stressed out people. We didn't use a venue, and there were a lot of contractors to manage. She made a detailed itinerary that was organized and easy to understand, and it gave us a lot of confidence in the structure of the day. Thanks to both of them, the rehearsal went really smoothly. On the day of, she and Regan just took over, and we didn't have to lift a finger. My husband says that by the time he arrived, everything was pretty much finished. Jacqueline solved unexpected problems without the need to even involve us. She was even there first thing in the morning the next day, and helped us clean. Thanks to them, we were able to soak in our wedding day and not work through it. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

We hired them a year ago for our wedding this past weekend, and they have been incredibly supportive throughout the process, with Jacq and Amy's regular live-streams to talk about wedding planning do's and don'ts and the events hosted by them (I wrote some incredible vows thanks to the vow writing workshop) and recommending vendors when I asked, even though we only hired Jenn for day-of-coordination. We used the 'Day-Of' wedding coordination services and from the very first e-mail, Amy was quick to respond, friendly and super knowledgeable. Expérience fantastique: I met Amy at a wedding show, and I won a free consult with her. Mike and I went for the consult about a year before our wedding. Once the wedding was closer, we went for one more, for Amy and Chrissy to help plan out our itinerary (about 6 weeks before the wedding). Once we left that appointment, I knew that we had to have both Amy and Chrissy there on our special day. There were so many things that they mentioned during the appointment that had not even crossed my mind. For example, who is picking up all of the flowers from the florist, and taking them around to everyone? Or, Who is organizing who goes where and when during the ceremony? All things that don't just 'happen'... they need to be organized and planned. I was so happy when Amy and Chrissy were both available to attend our day, and make sure everything went smooth. It was raining in the morning of our wedding, and I couldn't be more nervous as we had an outdoor ceremony planned. Amy was great in making the call, and it ended up being lovely out and we had the ceremony outside. Everything went just perfect. They were both there to help with whatever was needed: set up, take down, organizing, telling people where to go and when to go there, etc. I think the best line of the day was "In 7 years I have never used super glue, and today I have used it twice!" But you know, I don't know what either of those things were that had to be super-glued. It was amazing to not have to worry about that kind of stuff. They were so well-prepared!! Although, now I am a little interested in what happened!! We couldn't thank Amy and Chrissy more for an amazing day, and all of the support that they offered us. It was well worth it to have them there for us, and the rest of my family that day. Expérience fantastique: Amy was incredible! As a reluctant bride (when it came to the planning aspect) I felt uncomfortable making all of the wedding decisions myself. Luckily my husband, mother and mother in law were willing to help and met with Amy and I to go over (in fine detail) what each of us wanted for the wedding day. Amy was calm, patient, extremely knowledgeable and pulled all of our requests together into a cohesive itinerary. This itinerary became the most important document on the day of. Amy checked in with all of the vendors, she organized to fix the maid of honours dress (whose dog had chewed it up on the morning of- I happily had no knowledge of this at the time) she went and checked on the groomsmen, checked on the bridesmaids and put of fires where ever they occurred without my knowledge. Having a wedding was the most intense, challenging event that my husband and I have ever gone through together. I cannot imagine any bride having to go through such a huge day without the rock solid support of Amy McNall.

I had been told by many people I wouldn't have time to do it myself day of the wedding, and that couldn't have been more true. We hired her for full planning from beginning to end for our May 2015 wedding. Amy was helpful, constructive, prompt in replying and professional. She always pointed us to the best vendors and helped make sure our time spent planning in London (as we lived in Guelph and had to commute to London occasionally) was efficient and worth the drive. Expérience fantastique: I had eight weeks to plan my little backyard wedding that took place at the end of September 2014. Given our tight timeline, I knew we needed help to find and book vendors as quickly as possible. And because of the backyard venue, we knew we'd need help figuring out where to put tables, chairs, and coordinating all of the little day-of tasks that can only be done in the hours leading up to the wedding (when the bride, the groom, and their families want to be enjoying themselves and not worrying about those tasks!) One meeting with Amy and we knew we'd found the answer to it all! There are not enough words to describe how wonderful Amy is to work with: helpful, professional, prepared, kind, patient, responsive, polite (our guests literally told Amy how polite and lovely she is!), calm, cheerful, wonderful and amazing. She's a problem-solver for the small stuff (fake eyelashes that weren't quite right) and the big (rented patio heater that wasn't working and she arranged for a new one to be delivered). I was hestitant about booking a day of wedding coordinator initially, thinking that I could manage by myself with less cost. It turned out that her cost was worth every penny and more and I couldn't imagine my wedding day without her!! Amy put together an over the top itinerary for the day of (down to the minute) and gave each wedding party attendee a copy of it to stay on track. She touched base with each vendor to make sure everything was going well and on time. She prompted our MC's on timing cues, ran out the day of the wedding to get me caps to put on my heels so I wouldn't fall through the cracks on our ceremony deck (thanks again!!!) and coordinated the actual ceremony timing. At our final meeting, she asked me questions I never would have thought of until they would have come up the day of and she offered advice, experience and vendor suggestions every step of the way. I can't imagine organizing a wedding without a day of wedding coorindator...and Amy's definitely the best!

Expérience fantastique: For those of you who are thinking “wedding planners are too expensive, we can’t afford that in our wedding budget” – think again. Hiring Amy as our DOC was the absolute best decision we made. We definitely ended up saving money overall as her prices are amazing. Trust me, this is an expense that is WORTH EVERY PENNY. Like many other brides, I spent the first few months of my engagement on Pinterest planning out my dream wedding. I had so many ideas floating around in my head and it was so hard to determine how to pull everything together. We decided to use Amy for our décor and her advice was invaluable - she really helped me to bring my “vision” to light and develop a cohesive theme. It was also nice to have an honest third party to talk to who wouldn’t get upset if I didn’t like their ideas. Where Amy really added value was to help me to determine what décor items would have the most impact, while still being conscious of our budget. We received so many compliments on all of the little details and how personal our wedding was. Amy’s outstanding creativity was evident when she custom designed our wedding invitations, seating chart, menu cards, and wedding day signs. We received so many compliments on how unique the stationary was! The price was fantastic as well – significantly cheaper than everywhere else I looked. We used Amy’s referrals for our DJ (Adam at Vanrock), florist (Springhill Flowers), and cupcakes (Every Occasion Cakes). They were all amazing. She tailored her suggestions to fit our budget and tastes, which saved us so much time as we avoided having to research all the vendors online. Having Amy as our DOC was probably the best part of all. My hubby and I both have relatively demanding jobs and hiring Amy significantly reduced our wedding planning stress. About a month before the wedding, we had a “marathon planning session” with her to work out our wedding day timeline. She thought of everything and really helped to keep us on track in that final month where it felt like there were a million things on our to-do-list! Our wedding day ran so smoothly and it was so nice to just be able to relax with my bridal party in the morning and just show up! I truly felt as though Amy became our friend through the wedding planning process and I can tell that she really cares about her clients and wants their “big day” to be the best day ever. Absolutely the best decision we made…!!
