Expérience fantastique: We went with Alicia Keats Wedding & Events after finding them online, and looking at some of the review. This is part of why we thought it so important to leave a review so others can have the amazing experience we did. We were paired with Dallas and her team and met with her virtually soon after reaching out. Dallas was diligent but pleasant and right from the start gave us confidence that what felt like an overwhelming planning process could be managed. She provided an extensive questionnaire which gave us guidance on what actions we needed to take ourselves and what information she would need to help. We used the questionnaire as a template and starting point for some of our own google sheets, but continued to update it as our master information list that we shared with Dallas. We spearheaded the planning with her guidance. A month out from the wedding there was some key staffing turnover at our venue and Dallas stepped up and took over all communication with our vendors and the venue. She worked in tandem with our photographer to create an detailed day of timeline (including all the administration, and delivery optics before the ceremony even begins). It was also helpful that her and our photographer had previously worked together, so they were familiar and friendly with each other. Dallas attended our rehearsal dinner in person a few days prior to our event and ensured all the bridal party and family knew how the ceremony was organized and their roles in it (pictures included). She also circulated a concise day of timeline to the various people involved in the wedding party. The true magic occurred on the wedding day when Dallas brought our planning vision to life. On the wedding day itself neither me or my wife were asked any questions about logistics. Dallas kept everyone informed and her team helped ensure each transition throughout the day was seamless. We even had a medical emergency occur during the reception, which Dallas and her team acted swiftly and sheltered us from until after the paramedics had left. Thanks to the Alicia Keats Team, everyone was safe and the reception was able to continue. We would recommend Dallas and the Alicia Keats team to anyone who wants to take some of the stress out of the planning process and truly be present on their wedding day.

From the very beginning, she kept us organized with a clear schedule, tackling our long list of to-dos at a doable pace so we never felt overwhelmed. The wedding weekend itself came with the surprise of rain, but Dallas handled it seamlessly. She pivoted quickly, problem-solved on the spot, and somehow kept everything running so smoothly that none of our guests ever knew there was anything to fix. Our guests frequently came up to us commenting on how incredible she was at her job, as they saw her managing vendors throughout the weekend. She constantly checked in with us to make sure we were happy. She ran across the resort so much that her fitness watch literally died. If you’re looking for a planner who will work with you to create your dream wedding, it’s Dallas. She listens, she advocates for you when needed, she’s adaptable to change, and, most impressively, she never once looked stressed. Working with her was like working with a friend. Being a planner is clearly more than a job for Dallas - she's committed to her couple's happiness.

Expérience fantastique: My husband Rob and I worked with Sabrina Chen of Alicia Keats wedding planning. We honestly cannot say enough good things about Sabrina and the entire team. We held our wedding at the Fairmont Chateau in Whistler on August 9th 2025. We had a previous Vancouver based planner who let us down 5 months before the wedding and left us in limbo and chaos. On the advice of a friend, I reached out to Alicia and her team to explain the situation and see if they could help. I cannot express how kind and compassionate they were. They immediately lifted the worry and anxiety we felt. They didn’t try to make money out of our situation or exploit us. They simply and kindly said they were available and we were delighted to work with them. From then, everything was a dream. We were assigned Sabrina as our chief wedding planner and what a gift that was! Leading up to the wedding, on the day itself and afterwards following up and checking invoices to make sure they were correct, she was incredible! I have never met a kinder more thoughtful planner. She included our friends in Australia who couldn’t travel due to illness and set up a video link to include them in our special day. She included all the little personal art touches my mum had done for our wedding that we wanted to include. She in fact drove to our house in whistler to pick these up the day of the wedding to save us having to carry them all. She was incredibly responsive on the day responding within seconds when I texted her to say the fuses had blown in the hotel suite during hair and makeup :). It was sorted within minutes. Everyone at our wedding had a story about how incredible she was. She fixed the bustle on my dress not once, but twice as she simply whipped out a needle and thread she had on her with no fuss! She temperature tested our champagne to make sure it was perfect for our champagne tower and communicated all our requests for our meal so it was perfect! She even arranged minders for our dog patsy to be included and made it so she could watch our first dance and join in with us!! All of these small but super important details made our day! I call her our fairy godmother on the day and I would recommend Sabrina and Alicia Keats without reservation to anyone looking for a wedding planner. Expérience fantastique: I’ve put this review off for over a week because I just cant seem to find the words to express my love and gratefulness for Jamie and her team at Alicia Keats. From day one Jamie completely understood my husband and I, and our vision. She genuinely became my best friend during this process and took so much stress off of this experience. She went above and beyond for us and our families who travelled from all across North America. Not only was she professional, talented, and so intelligent but she also recommended the most top tier vendors for us who worked together seamlessly. She was always on our side and had our backs when the inevitable problems came up that needed to be solved, and always did so promptly and thoroughly to make sure we made the best decisions in the shortest time frame as to not stress. Our wedding turned out better than I could have ever imagined, and so much of it was because of her! Expérience fantastique: We cannot say enough amazing things about Jamie! You know you have an amazing planner when she could make me feel calm and confident before our wedding! We worked with her for over a year before our wedding, and she is such a dream to work with. She was very open with ideas, and yet knew the right moments to help step in with decisions. She helped us pace things and we never felt overwhelmed since she was always there with us giving us guidance. She came to know us really well and could tell what we loved (even sometimes before we did haha!). She helped us figure out what we wanted to splurge on and knew when to rein me in, in terms of budget priorities (my husband appreciated this). She supported me with some more of my unique ideas which worked out really well. We were also very glad to have her suggestions for vendors and every single of them was fantastic and reliable! Expérience fantastique: I cannot recommend Sabrina enough to all couples that are looking for a wedding planner! My husband and I worked completely opposite schedules and only had one day of the week where we were available to converse with her about the details of the wedding, and she made sure it always worked out. Not only that, but she is absolutely phenomenal in every aspect- providing suggestions, solutions, and all the support we needed to make the wedding a dream come true. When my husband and I were stressing over details, she always helped us sort it out and took a lot of the mental load. Expérience fantastique: Jamie helped plan our June 2024 wedding, and from beginning to end, she was right there with us. We talked to several wedding planning companies around the Lower Mainland, but it was Jamie’s professional, organized and bubbly nature that stuck out immediately and really drew us in. From our first consultation meeting, these qualities shone through, and we felt at ease with trusting her with planning the biggest day of our lives! For any hesitation or worry we had, it was met with confidence and a plan. We had a lot of ideas throughout the planning process, and Jamie gave her input and insight about each one, until we distilled it down to the final vision. This meant a lot of detailed emails, a lot of back and forth, and Jamie responded in detail to each and every one in a timely manner. She also helped us navigate some unexpected venue and vendor changes along the way, and got plan B up and running fairly quickly. My husband and I took on some wedding elements ourselves, such as the day-of stationery, making the wedding cake, catering the rehearsal dinner and making the custom cocktail drinks—Jamie helped support wherever she could, including helping connect us to a local printing company, and sourcing some decorative elements for the cake and cocktail drinks. She also had some great alternative ideas to help keep us within budget when it came to our florals. Her experience with leading events was evident the week of the wedding, because the day of the wedding really felt effortless. We didn’t have to worry about a single thing other than enjoying every moment and being present. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience to plan for the most joyous, love-filled, beautiful day of our lives. It’s not just about the singular day but all the days leading up to it too, and who is there with you. We feel so grateful that Jamie could be part of our wedding journey. Planning an elopement from Edmonton while our wedding was taking place in Vancouver seemed like a daunting task, but Sabrina made everything so incredibly. From the very first conversation, she listened to every detail we envisioned and offered us ideas when we were unsure of what to do. Despite the distance, she was always available, kept us in the loop with regular updates, and took care of all the logistics. From finding the perfect ceremony location to recommending an incredible local team for our day, her attention to detail was amazing. She even went above and beyond to make sure the small, personal touches were included, which made our elopement feel even more special. On the day of the wedding, Sabrina handled everything with grace and calm, making sure we were able to fully enjoy the moment without a worry in the world. We worked with Jamie-Lee Clooten, and for over a year we planned our dream wedding with her. Jamie became a true friend to us and took every single small thought and idea we had and made it a reality. Expérience fantastique: I've recommended Alicia to my couples over the many years I've known and worked with her for two reasons. First there is the selfish, practical angle: from a photographer's perspective when I'm working an AK wedding I am prepared with a detailed colour-coded timeline with every bit of information I could need (if I have a question I just need to look again). Expérience fantastique: ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!! We chose wedding-day services for our magical wedding at Fairmont Waterfront, Vancouver. Even though the pricing was higher than other vendors, we chose Alicia Keats because of the amazing professionalism she displayed with our initial interaction. What a perfect decision it turned out to be! KASIA WARDOWICZ was our wonderful coordinator. She took care of our very detailed timeline prior to the wedding, she connected with all of the vendors beforehand, and she made sure there was nothing we had to worry about on the wedding day. Furthermore, she handled matters for us which we would have never thought of! E.g. all of the flowers ended up in my parents' room at the end of the night - something I completely forgot to mention - my parents loved how full of flowers their house was the next day while hosting friends for a post-party wedding. Her roles are many and varied, and she can do it all, from budgeting spreadsheets with pinpoint accuracy, day-of marshaling of key players, to personally guaranteeing the quality of vendors, and being a stress-melter on the day of. She was able to work with our busy schedule (and time difference), and helped us to bring our vision to reality. The actual wedding was actually even more beautiful than I had imagined! Alicia made the whole planning process fun and enjoyable. The day of the wedding was as smooth as it can be - totally stress-free, so we got to enjoy the day rather than worrying about the details.
