Fantastic experience: Our experience with Destination dream weddings was better than we could have hoped for. With Sarah & Wendy's coordination we were able to arrange all of the details and schedules with the resort without any problems and very little stress. They were very knowledgeable and experienced and guided us around or through any potential hiccups or misunderstandings that could be common with getting married in a foreign country with a language barrier such as Mexico. Having a few guests in wheelchairs was not a problem and very few adjustments had to be made to make the whole event accessible. We also were able to make arrangements last minute to video call people who couldn't make it due to snowstorms. Wendy & Sarah answered our many questions quickly with our scheduled planning meetings and going into the day of the ceremony we knew exactly what to expect. We felt full freedom and support to pick exactly what elements we did or didn't want included and never felt pressure to do more. Wendy & Sarah went above and beyond with many great suggestions and ideas for what really made the day special to us.

Fantastic experience: I meet Wendy online because I needed to plan my wedding in a country I knew nothing about, She early welcomed me and listen to my idea and what was needed the most, and went straight too it, even tho we had to use different services to make this happen she offered her help still. The constant check ins and making sure all was well is something I can never thank her enough for. Thank you Wendy for assisting with my destination Wedding in December. Fantastic experience: We just celebrated our 20th vow renewal in Cancun Mexico this August, and honestly, it was beyond amazing — all thanks to Wendy and her team at Destination Dreams Wedding and Travel. From the very first planning call, we knew we were well cared for. Wendy made the whole process manageable, the monthly check-ins, included small action items, which made everyone accountable, it became something we looked forward to! Wendy super responsive the whole way through, no matter how many questions we had, and always had answers with solutions ready. She knows destination weddings inside and out and used all her tricks to stay within our budget. When little hiccups came up (because they always do with events), she handled them so quickly we did not even have time to stress. We appreciated how she went to bat for us with the resort — she was not afraid to challenge or negotiate on our behalf to make sure everything worked out in our favor. That gave us so much peace of mind, knowing she truly had our backs. Also, the personalized wedding website created by her team made it so easy for our guests to stay in the loop and get all the info they needed. On top of that, her fees were reasonable for the level of service we got — truly the best value ever. The day itself was perfect. The beach setup in Cancun took our breath away, every detail was on point, and the whole evening flowed beautifully. Fantastic experience: Maddy did a fantastic job bringing our vision to life. Maddy through the planning process is professional, insightful and enthusiastic. The team she has behind her is absolutely fabulous. Our small wedding at a private villa was perfectly put together. The vendors she suggested (photographer, hair and make up) were amazing. Maddy is organized, has a wonderful eye for detail and so so easy to talk to. It was nerve racking planning a destination wedding but she kept us at ease at all times, jumping over all the hurdles. Fantastic experience: I had the honor of working with Wendy this past month in Colorado Springs for a friend's wedding. Because of the Pandemic, it had been delayed three times and moved from its original location to Banff. Wendy was there the entire time to mediate everything and keep everyone in the loop. Super personable, proffesional and on the day of, easy to work with. I'm a Photographer based out of NY so the standard is high (despite me being naturally relaxed). Recommend her to anyone trying organize a wedding out of the country as well as locally in Canada!

Fantastic experience: Our wedding was everything and more! Maddy was on top of EVERYTHING. She was so professional, creative, thoughtful and fun! On what could be a very stressful day for the bride and the family, Maddy and Danny showed us we had nothing to worry about. It’s been a very difficult time for wedding planning during a pandemic and everything worked out beautifully. Not only did we find an amazing wedding vendor and planner, but we found life long friends. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: We found Dream Destination Weddings after scouring reviews for a wedding planning team in the Dominican Republic. Planning a wedding is hard, planning a destination wedding, site unseen from the US was so daunting. But Wendy and Maddy (and Danny!) made all of our dreams, hopes, and pinterest boards come to life! We started planning 1 year in advance, the monthly zoom meetings were very convenient and flexible. Wendy and Maddy immediately understood our vision and the shared Pinterest board was a hit. Communication with this team was wonderful, they were always extremely prompt and forthcoming. We planned a 20 person wedding on the beachside, garden grounds of a villa (Villa Cocomar in Caberete). Like with all wedding planning journeys we had some hiccups along the way but this team came through with even better alternate plans! Just a few weeks before the wedding our musicians fell through due to COVID travel issues, Maddy and Wendy found an incredibly talented local 3 piece orchestral band who played all of our song requests including some Persian pieces. So special! We wanted to incorporate a Persian rug in the ceremony, difficult to find in the Dominican Republic but somehow Maddy came through with a gorgeous rug! We wanted the event to be romantic, classic, but still boho/beachy, and this team NAILED IT. The floral arch, the charceuterie style grazing table, tapas, dessert table, and naked cake came out perfect! No detail went untouched! The team of chefs, wait staff, DJs, light/sound, and florist/decorator that Dream Destination Weddings has in the Dominican Republic is something straight out of a TLC wedding show or a movie. Maddy was the ultimate coordinator the days leading up to the wedding and especially on the day event itself. She simultaneously wiped my over-emotional tears and waved her magic wand to to orchestrate every detail into place. Our guests are still raving about how dreamy, aesthetic, and gorgeous our wedding was! (I think the photos speak for themselves, credit to our lovely photographers Phosphilic). When we say this team went above and beyond, we truly mean it. They even helped us plan, coordinate, and execute different excursions through the wedding week for our guests. The seafood boil rehearsal dinner, catamaran boat trip, fishing trip, and golf outings were a smashing success. Wendy, Maddy, and Danny welcomed us into their family and we are forever grateful for all their hardwork, unending patience, love and exquisite attention to detail.

Fantastic experience: Planning a wedding in a different country can be challenging, which is why we hired Maddy in the Dominican Republic to plan my daughter's wedding.
