Expérience négative: Avoid this company at all costs! We hired Jas and his team to do décor for our wedding last fall and we were extremely disappointed with their work and professionalism. We had initially called their company to see if they could execute a particular backdrop that we had wanted for our wedding ceremony. We had an extremely rude lady answer the phone and she seemed annoyed that we were contacting her at all for a quote. This should have been a red flag for us, but the owner Jas had personally contacted us afterwards and offered to meet us to discuss what we had wanted. After telling us that it would be a very easy job, and that they had done many like what we had wanted in the past, we decided to pay a deposit to them. Closer to the wedding date, we had arranged a meeting with Jas to discuss what we wanted in detail. We arranged a specific time and date to meet and we were waiting outside of their business when we received a call at the appointment time from Jas telling us that he was just leaving his house. We waited 20 minutes for him before he showed up. At this meeting we had provided Jas with layout diagrams indicating how we wanted our ceremony and reception to be set up, along with photos of the décor that he had in his show room that we had selected. On the actual wedding day, the main back drop that we had wanted for the ceremony was nothing close to what we had agreed on and it was set up poorly with one side of the backdrop being higher than the other. Our reception set up was also done incorrectly, even though specific diagrams were provided to him for how we wanted our entrance set up to be. To add to this, décor that we had chosen for the reception backdrop was not done and instead replaced with alternative décor. Unfortunately, we had trusted the wrong vendor to execute what we had wanted. In the end, not only did we not get what we were promised, they were not even apologetic for getting things wrong. When I reached out to Jas asking him why things were not done the way they were agreed upon, he replied me and said that what he had done was “better” and that timing was an issue when I know this was not the case (as his team left each venue early). He offered no apologies, no offers of reimbursement, just excuses. I truly hope couples in the future don’t fall into trusting Top Wedding Décor because they are unreliable, sloppy, extremely unprofessional and quite frankly, don’t understand how to run a proper business. There are so many other décor companies in Calgary that we had wish we worked with instead.

Expérience négative: RACIST ALERT!! This man had the guts to say " i gave business to a pakistani, its my fault" after messing up my mehndi decor! Had to change my decorator last minute and leave this guy for CRYSTALDECOR ...please dont waste your time on top wedding or bollywood fusion...
