Fantastic experience: My husband and I were planning a Vow Renewal in Montego Bay, Jamaica in 2026. We have been working with Luxe Destination Weddings during the planning process and it has been such a great experience. Our Travel Specialist, Swati Goyal, was truly amazing to work with. We ended up needing to cancel our plans due to our resort’s temporary closing after Hurricane Melissa. Swati handled the process so professional with grace and compassion from start to finish. Her responsiveness to myself and our guests during the cancellation/refund process was unmatched. We’re so grateful for Swati and hope to work with her again the near future!

Negative experience: I did not like the fact that no rooms were assigned to any of our party. It was only whatever was available. Many of the guests from the wedding party had to move rooms because of electrical and plumbing issues. I had a swim out room but I was not allowed to sit on the chairs beside it because it was for private members only. Im not sure that i would recommend this resort to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience working with Paul at Luxe Desination weddings and would 10/10 recommend them! The process is easy, seamless and they are always just a phone call or email away if you have questions! Paul reached out often to check in, and was always quick to respond to my guests when they were trying to book through the site! I felt well supported and I didn’t use the wedding planner through them, but if you have a vision for your wedding and don’t want to spend a lot of time figuring out the details then I recommend booking it through them, they do suggest it, but it’s always optional and I wish I had done it!

Positive experience: The travel planning side of things was very helpful for us and for our guests - Paul Yantha was great. Unfortunately, we did not have a positive experience with the wedding planning side of things. We ended up deciding to work directly with the hotel's wedding planner one month before our wedding, and things went much smoother and more efficiently from there.

Fantastic experience: We just got back from our Aruba getaway, and I have to give a huge thank you to Rital for making it all happen! From the very beginning, she was incredibly patient with all my questions (and there were a lot) and always responded so quickly with helpful info and honest recommendations. Even though the weather didn’t fully cooperate (apparently one of the cloudiest weeks in over 10 years - of course that would be our luck! ), everything else went so smoothly. The hotel was beautiful, the flights were great, and all the details were perfectly organized. We felt totally taken care of from start to finish. I really appreciated Rita's professionalism. I’m already thinking about the next one and will definitely be booking through her again!

She was incredibly patient as we navigated the learning curve, always available to answer our (many!) questions, and made any changes needed without hesitation. Her responsiveness and professionalism gave us so much peace of mind. She even went above and beyond by connecting us with other team members when we had questions outside her scope, which was a huge help in coordinating everything. Positive experience: It was an absolute pleasure to work with Tiffany, who helped us plan what turned out to be the wedding of our dreams! Tiffany was amazing at responding, promptly answered all questions we had relating to our wedding, and was a perfect liaison when communicating with the resort. As for the remainder of Luxe, we did encounter multiple difficulties/miscommunications/mishaps throughout our experience. Our travel planners took ages to respond to guests (if they did at all), and misrepresented information multiple times. Emails were sent out to guests without our approval. We had an instance of Luxe blaming one of our guests for missed payment and said the whole trip was at risk of cancellation because of it. Our guest was not at fault - it was a clerical error from Luxe. In summary, we were over the moon with Tiffany, who constantly responded to our queries even when on holiday. She provided amazing 5-star service, and should you choose to go with Luxe we absolutely recommend working with her.

Fantastic experience: Working with Luxe was a seamless experience. Michael is extremely helpful and was even able to get us a $200 credit from Sunwing (per person!) when the prices dropped 8mo after we booked. Thank you for all of your help coordinating our destination wedding vacation!

Fantastic experience: Our 2 week vacation to Sicily was everything we hoped it would be and more. Rita (Luxe Destination) explained every detail from check-in at Pearson to checkout at Rome. Our hotels and resorts were beyond words. Before departure Rita navigated through tour bookings, bus trips, train stations and where to get taxis. Fantastic experience: We’re getting married this September in Montego Bay, Jamaica, and Kawal has been absolutely phenomenal throughout the entire process! Wedding planning can be overwhelming, but Kawal made everything, especially the travel and room logistics—not only manageable, but genuinely easy. From the very beginning, he was knowledgeable, responsive, and truly dedicated to making this experience as smooth as possible, not just for us as the couple, but for all of our guests too. He went above and beyond every step of the way. We can’t thank him enough for his patience, professionalism, and care. If you’re planning a destination wedding or group trip and want someone who really knows what they’re doing, this is your guy. So appreciative to have had him by our side during this journey!

Negative experience: Our nephew used Luxe for his destination wedding in Jamaica. It's worth noting that 70 guests attended and were asked to use Luxe for their hotel reservations and work with Kawal. Our experience working with Kawal was disappointing from start to finish. We heard from a few other guests that they, too, had challenges with him. Here's a summary of our experience: 1) Our original selection of an upgraded multi-bedroom "Chairman/Diamond Club" suite for our family for a 10-day stay was mishandled by Kawal due to his lack of clear communication of what was required to secure the selection. 2) We ended up having to book two separate suites, and the communication, even to accomplish that, was challenging, requiring multiple emails and phone calls to gain confidence that we would get something close to our original selection. 3) We inquired about providing our hotel loyalty/member number for the property, and he advised us to provide it to the hotel when we checked in. (More on this point below.) 4) Just before our arrival date, we received an email from Kawal that was supposed to have included an attachment that we were to present to the hotel upon check-in. The email only included a link to the hotel's activities. I brought this to his attention, and while his response finally included the attachment, he stated that he was "resending it," implying that he had initially sent it! Our daughter experienced the same thing with her confirmation. 5) The hotel took our loyalty number upon check-in. Still, when I followed up about the loyalty points upon our return home, I was told we would not receive points because we had booked through a third party. I questioned both the hotel and Kawal about this. I received a detailed explanation from Kawal, stating that it was up to the hotel, etc. I told him it was odd that he didn't provide this detailed explanation initially. I believe he knew we would book directly with the hotel instead and he would lose his commission on the booking. It would seem he chose not to be fully transparent with us. (We are still escalating with the hotel.) Kawal took no care in his communication, nor his process, and his lack of transparency regarding the points was the most disappointing aspect. A 10-day stay at a "5-star" property equates to thousands of loyalty points lost! I encourage anyone working with Kawal to exercise caution and be prepared to follow up diligently, in the most detailed manner possible. Most importantly for hotel loyalty program members, push hard to gain clarity about earning points from the start. I suspect that booking through the hotel directly is likely your better option, no matter if someone from Luxe suggests just providing the number at check-in. It was a beautiful and fun wedding and that part of the experience was wonderful!

Fantastic experience: We had the best time of our lives. We enjoyed the company, the food and the resort. We will definitely come back again.

Negative experience: I was charged twice for a room I paid off back in march/April timeframe A day before I left (July 1st) to which I had to report it as fraud so I wasn’t charged. The Royalton in Saint Lucia was a bad experience.. moldy rooms, they had two rooms for me a didn’t know which was which. None of the “all-inclusive” experiences were available unless schedule.. and.. you couldn’t even schedule anything. I got to the point on day 6 where I went to complain about it and they ignored me for 2 hours and help everyone else before I started to make it my business to let them no I was displeased in a not so pleasant way. Which then they booked me for a reservation. The wedding was the only thing cool and even the locals walking around in the background talking loudly trying to make money was blatantly disrespectful and should never be allowed. The food was often undercooked.

Positive experience: We used Thomas Pelosi to arrange our stay at the Royalton Riviera resort in Cancun where our son was getting married. The wedding arrangements went very smoothly and our group of around 35 guests had a good time. The hotel was also a good place to relax before and after the event with clean spacious rooms and good food.

Positive experience: Customer service was an A +. Questions were answered promptly and clearly. Reminders and updates were timely and the ease of payment was the best. No complaints. However the hotel could have been more specific with room choices and descriptions. I was not satisfied with the room and lack of amenities provided. Beautiful weeding overrall.

Positive experience: Krista and Tiffany did an amazing job at making the wedding planning seamless! It was so much less stressful than planning one yourself. The wedding day turned out amazing, everyone at the resort was fantastic and took care of anything we needed. The only stressful part was the flights. It was initially with Sunwing and then it switched to West Jet and then it switched to Sunwing on the way down and West Jet on the way back. The Luxe rep who was in charge of the flights didn't seem to have all the anwers and I ended up having to call Sunwing to get things sorted. Also, they recommend using Nexus as they work with West Jet and Sunwing to book excersions when you get to the resort. Do not use Nexus online!! I booked through Nexus online and it was a nightmare. They cancelled our excursion 30 minutes before we were getting picked up and had to pay almost twice as much for a last minute rebook. They never ended up connected me to an agent on WhatsApp when I needed assistance.

Fantastic experience: Would definitely recommend. We worked with Krista to begin our planning and she was great. From the start she made it an easy and stress-free experience, listening to how we envisioned the day and helping to guide us to the right resort and package to make it happen. She was very patient through my many questions and was always quick to respond via email or phone which made the process feel like everything got completed in a timely manner.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I got married in Cabo and I can’t say enough amazing things about our wedding planner Tiffany. From the moment we started working together, she made the entire wedding planning process so stress-free and enjoyable (including our weekly chats that i really looked forward to). Tiffany went above and beyond in every way, making sure every detail was perfect—not just for the wedding, but also for our welcome yacht party, which was such an incredible experience for our guests. Our wedding day was absolutely beautiful, and I am so grateful. Thank you for everything.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I recently had a destination wedding at Planet Hollywood Costa Rica and was so pleased with all the pre wedding coordination! From the start, I had found a better rate for the resort on their website than was offered since we booked so far in advance. They agreed to price match the rates I found but then ended up giving us an even better rate, which made it much more affordable for our guests. Kawal was the best travel agent and always replied in a few hours to all my countless questions. Kawal was on top of it, sending me weekly guest list updates and let me know about the group concessions to expect before we even left for the trip. All the group concessions were as promised and they made us feel so taken care of at a private group check in at the resort. I got multiple compliments from my guests who interacted with Kawal about how attentive and helpful the service was. I had multiple hiccups with my airport transfers between deciding which guests would be on my private transfer and flight changes but Kawal took care of it by emailing guests directly and took the stress off of me! Kawal made the experience of coordinating a large group vacation easy!! Diane was our off site wedding coordinator and she was amazing! I was so sad that she could not be there on the day of the wedding to see it all through. She was so easy to work with and paid attention to details. She was so kind in replying to all my emails as I stressed about forgetting any details. The resort was beautiful, the wedding everything I dreamed it to be and everyone has an amazing time!

Fantastic experience: Kawal helped me with my room block and was cery great with communication for me and my entire guest list. Emails did not take days to reply and everything was explained so well. My wedding turned out amazing and everyone was happy!

Positive experience: We recently went there for a wedding. We had a great time. From the start their representative Kawal was wonderful to work with. He was very informative and thorough in answering all my questions and always responded in a timely manner. The staff at the resort are very friendly and accommodating. Our party had a blast enjoying the included activities. The breakfast buffet choices were amazing. The food at the wedding was delicious but the food at the associated BBQ the night before was just ok. Our last night we waited for a reservation to finally eat at the Steak restaurant but it was a disappointing. My 84 year old mom came with us and although we were on the second floor, we were able to get a room for her on the ground floor close by us and she enjoyed herself and even danced! Guanacaste is hot and very humid so bring a personal fan. Overall a great vacation!

Fantastic experience: Michael DiDomenico was our travel specialist, and he was amazing throughout. He responded to emails so quickly, whether it was an inquiry, concern, or any adjustment that needed to be made with our reservation. We attended our goddaughter's wedding at Royalton Splash Riviera in Cancun. There was no issue with the check-in. The view, food, and staff were all amazing.

Negative experience: Where to begin with all the mess from the planning to emailing the flight company myself. We got switched coordinators twice which was odd, but atleast try involve your self more with the destination coordinator. We had to relay all our emails that should of been done with luxe because our luxe coordinator went to a wedding so we had 1 week of no communication 2 weeks before we left. After we had to find out the luxe coordinator couldn't even count how many hours we had at our reception, to find out we needed one more hour of service that wasn't paid for. The little details that luxe coordinator missed we had to pay even though she said we have nothing else to pay for, can you imagine calling and still owing thousands is beyond comprehensible. Never mentioned if we needed a MC, also never mentioned a beach fee for each individual. Onto the flight coordinator, she couldn't even figure out why we our flight reservation wasnt working for 28 guests, only for myself to call the airline company to solve the problem. I tried to book seats for my parents only to find out all the seats been taken because we didnt recieve our reservation codes on time. If your planning a wedding NEVER go with Luxe they pretty much make you coordinate your own wedding!!!!!

Fantastic experience: The resort was perfect for our honeymoon. From the rooms, to dining options, to service at the pools and to amenities everything was truly 5 stars. Krista was fantastic in locating this resort for us.

Positive experience: Clean, friendly place, rooms were well appointed, and spacious. The pool patio was welcome relief. Casino was small but we'll run, no crap table or poker (3 card, 4 card or others.) Limited slot machines . All the service folks were exceptional. Housekeeping was noteworthy. I will down grade the chefs and cooks. They did what they could but buffets were a little underwhelming. The bell staff did everything to support every guest. I had a great time. But will probably choose a different resort if I ever go back to the island.

Fantastic experience: Our Actual trip is in July, my Son and Future Daughter in law is getting married @The Royalton Negril. We are super excited! The Couple went through Luxe to book their special event! Our Travel Specialist was Swati Goyal.She was amazing, efficient, friendly, PATIENT lol I have to put patient in all caps because I had to make a few changes to my booking, but every time Swati was pleasant and on point. Fantastic experience: My husband and I had our destination wedding in Cancun Mexico with 25 guests in April 2025. We worked with Michael who made our experience and our guests experiences simple, wonderful and seamless. Very attentive, easy to work with, friendly and honest. His communication not only with us as the wedding couple but our guests as well was immediate and comforting. Traveling internationally with a large group can be tricky but Mike made it easy. Fantastic experience: So far we've started our planning journey with Christy who has been out Sales Representative. Christy took SO much weight off of our shoulders in liaising with the resorts, sourcing rates, wedding packages - you name it, Christy did it. My fiancé and I can not thank her enough for her immense support in this process and so far in our wedding planning journey we haven't been stressed. (After working with your sales rep, you work with your wedding planner and travel expert. We've been assigned Tiffany and Nada and I plan to leave a review after working with them as well, as we have just entered stage 2 of planning)

Fantastic experience: Swati Goyal assisted me with my travel reservations for the Smith/Williams wedding at the Royal Blue Waters Resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica. She was very helpful and a pleasure to work with. Kept me advised of any changes, as well as any additional services I might like or need. Fantastic experience: My son and his partner had a destination wedding at Royalton Splash in Cancun and we all worked with Kawal as our Travel Account Manager. Kawal was very professional, expedient, and effective at coordinating the process of booking over 60 guests with all the inevitable last minute changes in bookings, transfers, etc. The process of booking and getting us there was seamless and Kawal had a lot to do with that!

Fantastic experience: We can not say enough how much we appreciates Kawal from Luxe Destination Weddings! We attended the wedding of my niece Kiana Pygnasak to Aiden Sim-Campos in Mexico. From the moment we booked our trip Kawal was quick to respond to any emails I sent with questions. When we got to the resort there was a mix up with our reservations (which can happen, it was a mistake) however Kawal was there to answer the phone and was always quick to respond to my emails, and resolved the issue for us. We would recommend him and Luxe to our friends and family.

Fantastic experience: Rita from Luxe Destination Weddings was a huge help in booking our family vacation. She offered great insight on different resorts to help us choose the right one, and helped us navigate all the ins-and-outs of the process, like helping understand options with travel insurance, customs protocols, and ground transportation. She was very responsive to all our questions, and happy to provide all the info. As a result, we had a wonderful worry-free trip. Thanks Rita!

Positive experience: Swati was great with booking and handling the process. The resort the royalton punta cana was beautiful the people are so warm and welcoming. The activities fun! The food needs a lot of improvement. The main buffet is good but the other resort restaurants that are included suck. And the service at those places is horrible. I don’t understand the disconnect. I think as long as people are drunk and have good liquor they won’t complain about the food! The food needs improvement.

Negative experience: Worked with Nada for a friends destination wedding. Would never work with this company again. Multiple errors including the hotel not having my reservation along with a couple other guests. Would never respond unless there was mention of money. Do yourself and your guests a favour and work with somebody else!

She is wonderful...I have asked her many questions and many favours and she is always quick to respond and with the information that i require. I highly recommend Luxe Destinations and Nada.

Fantastic experience: Jennifer S. worked with us to arrange attending a family wedding in Mexico. She was responsive and flexible with our resort and flight arrangements and went above and beyond in working with the resort on our behalf to accommodate our special needs.

Negative experience: How do I start this review? If you plan on getting married at a destination location this is not the place for you. Poor communication from the start, after we PAID in full my daughter did not even get a reply email / whatsapp/ text until 1 day before the wedding. NO MC - Not a DJ those are separate and extra. Paid for Karaoke but was told that we have to leave the venue at 9pm? A Wedding Reception told to end by 9pm - no refund on Karaoke... Bottle Water-13.00 Bug Spray - 24.00 no joke Hotel App - Did not work half the time and you must use this in order to get the dinner reservations. Unless you offer to buy 300.00 plus in booze at an all inclusive - extra! Then they cut you in front of the line? I could go on and on about the poor service and lack of organization but I wont. This is a Canadian company and all they cared about was getting my US dollars. Thats it - once they got it -Zero Service People that actually worked on site where very friendly -so hey one good point. Will not go back, will not recommend. Try Vidanta that place is always good. -JB

Fantastic experience: We leave for our wedding in Mexico in less than a month. Our experience with Luxe has really been above and beyond, I don’t have enough good things to say!!!! Thank you Nada and Krista! We were unfortunately ghosted by our previous travel agent (not through Luxe) with only 6 months until our anticipated wedding date. We were left with nothing booked and nothing done. I reached out to Luxe in quite a panic and was first assigned to Krista. Krista listened to all of our wants/needs in a resort, and found us the perfect spot. She was so reassuring and had no problem getting our date secured. Within like 2 weeks we had the wedding booked, deposit paid, flights reserved and invites sent out to our guests. (Such a relief after arguing with our previous agent for 6 months to get her to do literally anything). Krista then introduced us to our travel manager Nada, who took over with all the travel arrangements. Again, I can’t say enough praise. Everything has been so smooth. On our end - Nada has been so accommodating and informative. Any little things that have come up she’s taken care of no problem. She replies to all of my pestering emails and questions very promptly, no matter how insignificant the issue. For our guests- Nada has been incredibly accommodating to every single request. We have over 50 guests flying out of 5 different airports from Nova Scotia to Alberta and Nada was able to coordinate flights for everyone based on their needs. She was able to make any date changes or room upgrades happen quickly and smoothly. She’s helped coordinate difficult travel insurance cases, and she responds quickly to any guest questions/inquiries. Nada and Krista have truly saved our wedding when I was at a point I didn’t think it would happen. I’m so thankful for them, and sooooo excited for our wedding!

Fantastic experience: Swati is great… I booked my trip with a plus one and realized that they won’t have their passport 6 months prior to the trip date. Swati was able to accommodate me and added the deposit for my plus one to my single invoice. I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I was invited to a destination wedding in St. Lucia. I’m so pleased that the bride & groom chose Parvesh Sofat to help with the planning of this joyous event. I was able to make my preferred selections, reserve & pay easily online without any confusion. My accommodations for my transportation to and from the hotel & airport were on time and great as expected, and the check in/out for the hotel process was easy & fast. I appreciate having an uncomplicated experience. Parvesh was also great in communicating even after the vacation ended, offering assistance to resolve an issue I incurred while in St. Lucia. From beginning to end Parvesh provided excellent service!

Fantastic experience: We had used Rita’s services in the past, so it was a no-brainer to work with her again to plan our 25th anniversary cruise (our first cruise ever). From start to finish, Rita did an amazing job organizing travel, excursions, and special touches to recognize our celebration. Communications with Rita were amazing! Negative experience: Live in liberty village and they're always closed. The one time I was able to arrange a meeting in person regarding a destination indian wedding. I thought it went well and we were ready to get more info. they said they'd follow up with us and never did. Do not recommend it for any ethnic weddings...got the impression they're not interested in servicing these types of weddings/ events

When I contacted Paravesh Sofat and explained my situation he understand and worked to help resolve my problem. He was very easy to work with and I was very grateful to him for his willingness and ability to straighten out my situation.
