Fantastic experience: Ally & Perfectly Designed Events - the most fitting company name! We couldn't have asked for a better person and team to plan the wedding of our dreams. I knew I wanted to have our wedding in my parents' backyard - something I have always dreamed about even before meeting my husband. I am definitely not a person who enjoys planning and putting things together, so I didn't even know where to start. The idea of planning a wedding, especially at a place that isn't a true "venue" was very overwhelming. Between the video calls, site visits and emails, Ally made our experience so easy, seamless and fun. We often felt like we should be more stressed based on how good we felt about the whole process! Ally gave us a very detailed budget, with lots of things we wouldn't have even thought about and gave us timelines and lists to get stuff done quickly and efficiently. Her eye for design, and creativity was something unmatched from any other planner I had seen. Considering it was a private property event, she made us a 3D design so we could truly picture the transformation, and I think that was my favourite part of the process, and definitely a unique one! Our day went so smoothly and efficiently, and I couldn't imagine doing this with any other wedding planner. My husband refers to Ally as the "Connor McDavid of wedding planners" and I couldn't agree more. She is the best of the best! We miss her already!!! Fantastic experience: “We’ve hired a wedding planner”! Immediately, one’s mind as a parent thinks, “Gee, do you/we really need a wedding planner?”. Our thoughts exactly when our daughter and S-I-L told us they hired Ally and her team. The wedding was to be held at our country property. Being in the service industry for many years we thought we would be completely capable of pulling this off without additional help. Well… we were wrong. Ally, indeed, transformed our property into a stunning backdrop for the wedding of our daughter. She assuaged any questions or concerns we had with the layout of the day and really allowed us to concentrate on preparing our property for the day without worrying about the intricate details and timing that we now know go into making for an extraordinary day. Her coordination of the numerous “vendors” involved was something to behold! Her coordination efforts even extended to the rehearsal the night before, making sure everyone knew their timing, and their place! Talking with friends who coincidentally had an on-property wedding the same day as ours we further discovered the importance of Ally’s coordination. Honestly, it allowed “us” to truly enjoy our daughter’s wedding, without having to worry about “who was where” and “when does this have to happen”. As the ceremony was about to begin, I worried about traffic going by on a dirt road adjacent to our property as things got underway. Unbelievably, Ally stationed her team members on the road to stop traffic! Wow… that is attention to detail!! So… when your kids say they’re having a wedding and want to have it at home, make sure you ask if they’ve hired Ally and her team at Perfectly Designed Events!! Fantastic experience: Honestly, I don’t know how to start this review. Ally is, beyond amazing. She is phenomenal at her job, and “rating” her is impossible because there aren’t enough stars to be able to do this. She is kind and thoughtful and always made me feel like I was making a great choice. She came to us with the perfect venders and helped us choose based on the vibe of our wedding. I was never stressed, not once, during the planning of our wedding day. On the day, I’ve never had someone more calm and helpful as Ally. I look back and wonder how I would have been able to get through all parts of the day, including prep and setting up and coordinating venders and tending to my leg burn (which she did- I burned my leg and she got special bandages and put them on…she’s amazing). A few years ago, Ally oversaw a family wedding that took place at our beach house on Lake Erie. Her management skills and creativity allowed the overall event to be unique, timely, and memorable. I felt comfortable in asking Ally to assist me in my quest to hold a celebration in memory of my husband. Initially, Ally sat with me to discuss and share ideas: asking me what I was looking for...the setting, style, food & beverages, floral arrangements, furniture rentals, etc. She created a website for the event to help set up the invitations and replies, and it also established the feel of a true celebration of someone who was very special to many. I had the venue already booked. We met in person with the management representing the venue to discuss all the particulars. I was able to totally experience my husband's celebration, because Ally was fully in control of the entire day. I just needed to show up, meet and greet guests, and enjoy the event. My fiancé and I stumbled upon Perfectly Designed Events through an instagram post about a STUNNING wedding they had planned at Caso Station (this happens to also be the venue we chose for our June 2025 wedding)! We were in awe, and knew we had to reach out! Ally was quick to get back to us with an amazing opportunity to try out their new design service, and, seriously, how could I say no?! From our first conversation with Ally, we could understand why Perfectly Designed Events is so revered in the SWO wedding industry. Their level of organization, professionalism, and care for each individual client is simply outstanding, and I think one would be hard pressed to find even a similar caliber of service anywhere else. To say we were impressed would be an understatement! Working with Ally and her team has been an absolute dream, and we wish we had found her sooner! My fiancé and I are a young couple on a budget, and unfortunately navigating the wedding industry had been super disheartening for us. We had lost hope that we would ever feel excited about wedding planning again, and due to the budget stress, we had frozen up when it came to making any more wedding decisions (particularly in terms of design! It was such a foreign domain to him and I could tell he was overwhelmed before (and frankly, as was I), but through this we really got to work together, and now I can actually see how the finished product is a reflection of both of our individual styles. I’m so pleased to say that our special day will truly look and feel like it’s OURS, not just mine We loved our experience so much, that we also went through Ally and her team for our wedding invitations. Once again, the process was so easy for us and we LOVE our final product! And Ally did a phenomenal job working within our budget and still delivering a final product that is elegant, luxurious and timeless. We’ve been getting nonstop compliments on them from our invitees, which feels soooo amazing! But now that she planned my elopement I can without a doubt say that she is the best at what she does. From the moment she signed on, everything was perfect. From the start, she was excellent at helping us make sure our vision came true while also helping us avoid any pitfalls. My now husband and I had Ally and her company Perfectly Designed Events plan our recent wedding via her complete wedding design package. When most people think of planning a wedding they often think of all the stresses asscoiated it, our experience could not have been further from this thanks to Ally. I can say hands down, without a doubt hiring Ally was the single BEST decision we made (apart from deciding to get married)! From our first meeting we knew that she was going to do a fantastic job. Ally herself is incredibly kind, personable, and professional. It was easy to see that her organisational skills and attention to detail were second to none. As someone who easily gets overwhelmed with too many options, Ally’s expertise and experience in the industry were a life and time-saver. She was consistently able to curate a short list of vendors who would match our style and work with our budget making the process of planning a wedding pretty much completely stress free. We also felt she was very budget conscious and very transparent as to how much things cost and why so we felt we could really trust her recommendations and insight into which areas were worth a splurge vs a save. I cannot tell you how many times throughout the planning process we said something along the lines of “I never would have thought of that, thank god for Ally!” As for our wedding day, the day itself (it sounds corny but is absolutely true!) it was easily one of the best days of our lives and really all credit is due to Ally! She had selected a bare venue, requiring the entire set up to be designed, ordered in, set up, taken down, so on and so forth. Fantastic experience: Our wedding day was, quite simply put, a perfect day. We have many people to thank for the success of the day, people without whom our day would not have been so special. Ally, however, stood out among all of them. Since our first meeting, Ally brought such a lively and passionate energy to the process. She is a true professional. Ally made the entire process a breeze: she would promptly explain exactly what information she needed from us, and when she needed it, so that she could support us in her role. Then, Ally took care of pretty much everything. She listened to our vision, presented us with the very best options, and contacted vendors. A month or so before the wedding, a full breakdown of the day was provided to us and all those involved in the wedding day. Every item was carefully planned, minutes precisely managed, and meetings flawlessly coordinated. Ally even scheduled time for my new husband and I to escape together, take a moment, and take it all in. Her sister company, Perfect Little Details, also provided the ability to rent decor which, of course, we were able to take full advantage of: seating chart, bar menus, reserved signs, candle holders and hurricane glass. For someone who, herself, needs to be in absolute control, Ally never let me doubt my decision to have her take the lead. We would strongly encourage anyone to enlist Ally and her team for any event you may be planning.

Fantastic experience: Before hiring Ally, my husband and I had selected our venue and caterer, but then became a bit overwhelmed by all the OTHER decisions we had to make! When I first spoke with Ally, I mentioned that I was looking for someone to help us select our remaining vendors (e.g., photographer, florist, etc...), and to help with decor selections and day of setup and tear down. Ally was able to create a custom package that suited what we were looking for. I would handle some of the leg work (e.g., contacting vendors) and she would be there throughout the process to keep the overall vision in mind and help with every little decision. Additionally, she would take over full coordination a few months ahead of the wedding to make sure everything ran perfectly on our big day! Our first official meeting with Ally was to come up with a budget. Of course, I knew this was part of the process, and my husband and I had tried to make one ourselves, but we quicky realized that we had NO IDEA what anything actually costs! Ally was able to guide us on WHERE to spend our money and on what things we could save. After our budget was complete, Ally was able to provide me with a list of reputable, quality vendors that would fit within my budget! This saved us so much time! I didn't have to contact 10 different photographers, only to find out that 5 of them would be charging much more then we could afford. We met with Ally regularly throughout the planning process and she provided us with "To Do" lists that included everything we needed to complete each month to stay on track. With Ally in charge, I knew that I wasn't going to forget ANYTHING! This also took a lot of the stress out of preparing for our wedding. I never felt overwhelmed with the amount I needed to get done and could just focus on the tasks I needed to complete that month. Ally created a design plan for our wedding that included all of the decor items. She was always very welcoming of feedback. If I wanted something a bit different, she could modify it. She was even able to incorporate some DIY projects for us (along with very detailed instructions) so that we could keep this element of the wedding within budget. Her vision was spectacular, and we received so many compliments from our guests about how beautifully decorated our wedding venue was! On our wedding day, Ally handled EVERYTHING, even two surprise guests who showed up without RSVPing! We were able to just relax and enjoy ourselves, knowing that everything was taken care of. My husband and I often comment on how smoothly our day ran. If anything didn't go as planned, we had NO IDEA! Ally and her lovely assistant, Sam, took care of it. My husband and I debated long and hard before hiring a wedding coordinator. We are both very organized and probably could have handled pulling an event together without the help of a professional. As mentioned, when I hired Ally I was looking for vendor contacts and room setup/tear down, however, what I didn't realize was all the other AMAZING benefits that would come from hiring her! I know, without her guidance, our wedding would not have been as beautiful, it would not have run as smoothly, it probably would have ended up costing us a lot more, and I would have been far more anxious, worrying if everything was going as planned. I would HIGHLY recommend Ally and her team. She is a true professional and an absolute pleasure to work with.

Fantastic experience: I was a bridesmaid in one of Ally's events. Must say, being a bridesmaid has never been so easy. Watching Ally at work was amazing. She was everywhere. On top of everything. The ultimate professional. Had a fanny pack and suitcase with everything one could need. A boutonniere fell apart? No problem. Ally can create one. Decorations need to be off tables and out the door by 1am? No problem, Ally will get them packed up and out. Every little thing she handled it all with apparent ease. Honestly wish I had Ally for my wedding as well.

Fantastic experience: If I could do one thing differently with my wedding, it would be reaching out to Ally sooner. I would have hired her as a full planner and decorator had I not already set my budget before meeting with her. Instead we met for 1hr consultations whenever I needed advice and help with next steps, which fit my budget and schedule. Ally is amazing - I could barely keep up writing down all the (proven excellent) advice she gave me. I honestly trusted her completely with my wedding immediately; She knows everything: all the vendors, tips and advice, common pitfalls, all the things I didn't know I didn't know. She helped me find multiple vendors, all of whom were perfect. I was stressing that my decor wouldn't look right, so she helped me mock up and adjust ideas, and it looked perfect day-of; it was exactly what I wanted it to be. Even though I wasn't a full client, Ally gave our wedding so much of her time and energy - I never had to remind her of anything we'd last talked about, she stayed late on calls when I still had questions, she coordinated everything with our florist on our behalf..I could go on. On top of that, she's one of the warmest and friendliest people I've interacted with and I instantly felt comfortable with her. I absolutely love her, and I've told everyone I know if they're ever planning a wedding their first step should be talking to Ally. It's not an exaggeration to say she is the reason my wedding day was absolutely perfect and wonderful. ❤

Fantastic experience: Ally was absolutely amazing throughout our entire wedding process and helped us to have the most wonderful wedding day! As someone who loves to plan, I originally didn't think I needed a wedding planner. Boy, was I wrong! The amount of work that goes into a wedding, as well as all of the coordination leading up to the wedding and the day-of, is mind-blowing. We could not have done it by ourselves. Ally guided us through the entire process, always providing very clear timelines and tasks to complete. She was fun to plan with and always took time to consider every little detail. She quickly figured out our vision and then worked tirelessly to make it happen. I felt confident leading up to the big day knowing Ally had everything under control. On the actual wedding day, Ally, and her very capable team, made the day truly flawless. Our venue had a pretty inexperienced staff, but Ally and her team made them look good. I could go on all day about how wonderful of a job Ally did, and so could our guests. It's been a month since our wedding and we're continuing to hear from our guests about how impressed they were with everything and how beautiful everything looked. Fantastic experience: We recently got married in March 27th,2022. We had a pleasure working with Ally Lightfoot for few years from Perfecly Designed Events. We hired her right after meeting her for the first time in 2019. She is very friendly and extremely professional. Due to COVID we need to push our wedding off till 2022 March…she stuck by us and guided us through pandemic. She is very detail oriented, organized and hardworking. She always make sure of her couples are happy and executes their vision. Our wedding day went smoothly, I was not stressed or worried. Fantastic experience: We hired Perfectly Designed Events through the Complete Wedding Design Package and it was easily the best decision my husband and I made. After we got engaged, we knew that if we wanted the wedding of our dreams we couldn’t do it ourselves. After the time we spent together with Ally planning our wedding, we now think of her as a friend and not our wedding planner. She was there to handle the stress and uncertainty through it all and allowed us to focus on each other and our guests. Fantastic experience: I’m sharing this review as a wedding industry professional and sister of the bride. As summers pass, it’s become more rare for me to view weddings and the staff from a guests perspective. Saturday, Ally and Danie helped organize and run my sisters wedding after many reschedules due to the “pandy.” Watching them swiftly move through dealing with the wind damage and welcome guests, keeping the timeline, organize family for photos, as a photographer myself was incredible. Often I have a second photographer accompany me during my own wedding bookings but rarely does a planner get so involved willingly and swiftly when one is not there. Danie was able to ensure people were not struggling with the heat, my sister had water and what she needed whenever needed and had family members swapping out quickly and timely. Together, and then separately as they needed to split up, they ensured my sister had the day she so deserved after a year and a bit of uncertainty. Every interaction with them was pleasant and I look forward to working with them professionally in the future as I recommend them to my own couples for their wedding planning needs.
