Fantastic experience: Across the board - five star rating!! I had the pleasure of working with Shandi for our wedding. And I don't even have words on how she made our special day, go so smoothly. As our day got closer, she made up a detailed time-line that all our vendor's, wedding party, and parents got. When I say detailed, the timeline we received was down to 5-10 minute intervals, from when makeup and hair had to arrive, when the photographer and videographer arrived, when our first look was, the time it took to commute to the winery, when we walked down the aisle, first dances - etc. One big bonus to hiring on Twelfth Night Events - they deal with any last minute tweaks and changes. Fantastic experience: If I could give Lauren and her team above 5 stars I would. She saved my wedding. Prior to meeting Lauren we worked with another wedding planner that did not work out. After working with our previous planner for 6 months, I can truly attest to the difference a wedding planner makes. Choosing the wrong planner resulted in an absolute disaster that I didn’t fully understand until roughly a month before our wedding. We didn’t have a timeline, a dj, a design proposal, bathroom trailers, a bartender or even a florist. A friend recommended Lauren and I cannot imagine how my day would have played out without her. Replacing our previous planner with Lauren was the best decision we have ever made. Within minutes of contacting Lauren and relaying the situation, she was on it. We had a florist within ten minutes. By the end of the day we had a design proposal, a dj, and an actual timeline to finally send out guests. In hiring Lauren, you truly are hiring a team. She comes with an amazing reputation and repertoire of vendors that also adore her. She and the amazing florist she found understood what I wanted better than I did. I also appreciated that Lauren does not upsell. The flowers we used for our aisle and our focal point for our vows were repurposed for our tables and head table. She is an expert at knowing exactly what you need to create a beautiful atmosphere without going over budget. She saved the day but also had the knowledge to know exactly what we did and did not need. What I realized I missed more than anything with my other “planner” was someone to actually plan with; someone who not only cared about my ideas but was excited to make them happen. I thrifted over 100 vintage crystal glasses for our specialty drinks, she and her team set them up and it truly was the highlight of my night. Each guest was able to pick a “special” glass from the beautiful display she created. I left Lauren a garage full of personal items that I thought maybe some could be put to use. I showed up to my wedding to see literally every item incorporated into the day, from multiple hand painted signs and pictures, the glasses, over 100 vases, vintage trays, cornhole boards and numerous sentimental decor items, every single item I left was displayed. She has an unbelievable gift when it comes to making her weddings reflect each couple she works with. I had just about every guest not only tell me it was the best wedding they have ever been to, but also the most intimate. The intimacy is a reflection of the time she takes to get to know each couple and reflect them in every aspect of the day. Again, she planned this wedding in roughly 5 weeks. Another service I didn’t realize how valuable it was, was her organization and timing. She took a massive weight off of our MCs. She created a timeline and executed it to perfection. Our MCs and those giving speeches could fully enjoy the night. When it was their turn to speak, Lauren found them, guided them and pumped them up. Choosing your wedding planner matters. I cannot recommend Lauren enough or put into words the difference she made to our day. She is saved into my phone contacts as “savior Lauren” and it couldn’t be more accurate.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I will be forever grateful to Lauren from Twelfth Night Events for agreeing to coordinate our daughter’s wedding after another planner failed to deliver as promised. Lauren stepped in and completed more in 48 hours than what had been accomplished in the previous 6 months. She showed incredible attention to detail, a talent for creating my daughter’s vision and had existing relationships with vendors to quickly pull it all together. Fantastic experience: As we sit here and reminisce on our wedding day 1 year ago, we can’t help but think over and over again how we made the right decision to choose Twelfth Night Events. We still remember the day we first met with Lauren and Shandi. It was an instant connection and felt like we’ve known each other forever. It was almost immediate that we knew this is who we were going to choose to spend the next 2 years of our engagement with. One thing we told them was that we wanted my mom to do nothing, and to relax and enjoy the day. Lauren was our biggest advocate and always made us feel important. Her communication with us was outstanding and always replied to our e-mails and phone calls in a timely manner and she attended every meeting with us. Her expertise, knowledge and network within the event planning industry is superb. If you want something, she has a vendor for literally everything. She is very realistic with you and upfront about ideas. Something we bonded on, was the tiny little details. To us, those were huge! We lived for the seating charts, menus, table numbers, name tags and invitations, down to the quality of paper and ribbon we would use. Lauren introduced us to our decorator, RL Designs. We met with him and Lauren on several occasions just to make sure the florals and designs were exactly what we wanted. Lauren did mock ups for us just so we could really visualize the day. These two have all the patience in the world. In the end, they nailed our wedding day. Lauren was able to pull off a very smooth flowing wedding. She managed to be everywhere all at once and do so with grace. Lauren in the end did exactly as we asked…she won my mother over (she was skeptical of the idea of hiring a wedding planner) and made sure my mom enjoyed the day. She also gave my mom some tasks throughout the planning, just so she could also feel involved in the process. It's been a year now and we miss the constant e-mails. TNE changed our outlook on wedding planners and it is because of Lauren that we tell everyone that they need to hire a wedding planner. Lauren and TNE will forever hold a special place in our hearts. She was absolutely exquisite, and I didn't feel a lick of stress those three months leading up to the wedding. Fantastic experience: We hired Lauren and the Twelfth Night crew back in 2019. After a cancelled 2020 nuptial, we rescheduled for Summer 2022. It was a long ride of re-planning and re-setting expectations, which ultimately culminated in the perfect day when it arrived. Throughout this lengthy planning process, Lauren provided expert recommendations for other vendors, event layout and event flow. I am highly attentive to detail, and had firm ideas on many features I wanted to include on my wedding day. This required Lauren and her team to be patient, creative and nimble. On the day-of, Lauren and Celina delivered on my vision; one I had been holding onto for over three years! Every detail was perfectly executed. Negative experience: There was a lady at my friend’s wedding recently, she was extremely rude and made our experience so uncomfortable. We didn’t know she is wedding planner until we complained to my friend and ask who she is. Her behaviour brought our mood down so bad and ruined the whole party. I would rate this business 1/10 for such a unprofessional manner as a wedding planner to the guest.

I was a bridesmaid in the wedding, and truly got to see the value Lauren and her team brought to my sister on the wedding day. Fantastic experience: I have had the pleasure of meeting Lauren a few times over the last few years at various events as my brother is in the industry and works closely with Lauren and her team quite often. Needless to say, I have been patiently waiting for the day that we would be able to work together on my own event. We had the pleasure of having Lauren coordinate our wedding last fall and planning a wedding during Covid definitely had its moments of uncertainty and discouragement. With the ever changing rules and restrictions we didn’t really know what was going to happen and if we were even going to be able to move forward with our wedding. Our venue wasn’t even sure if they were going to allow us to move forward with them and made us wait until June for our October wedding before they allowed us to move forward. We had many obstacles to deal with because of the mandated restrictions and Lauren went above and beyond to make sure that our day went as smooth as possible.  Due to the constant restriction changes our venue made things very difficult for us leading up to the morning of the wedding and Lauren made us feel very comfortable and reassured us that our day was going to happen exactly how we envisioned it to. Having family members in the industry it was very important to us that we had someone there that we could fully trust and bring the vision to fruition. Lauren went above and beyond to make sure that every detail was taken care of and because of that we were all actually able to enjoy the day knowing that Lauren and her team were there. The morning of the wedding the venue manager informed us that we would not be allowed to have any lit candles without a permit from the fire Marshall. Having known there was going to be candles months in advance, she waiting until the last possible minute to bring this to our attention which would have given anyone a slight panic attack. Needless to say we walked into our wedding to lit candles. The entire day went as smoothly as it could possibly have gone. Lauren made a detailed timeline for us as well as all of our vendors and executed everything better than we could have imagined. Lauren was with us for the entire day checking in to see if we needed anything and making sure we had a complete stress-free day. There were a number of moving parts following the ceremony as we had both our ceremony and reception in the same venue, Lauren and her team delivered more then we could have ever imagined and took all of our stress away so we were able to relax and take in every moment from start to finish. Fantastic experience: From the beginning we decided we wanted to use a wedding planner and are so happy we choose to work with Lauren and the team at Twelfth Night Events (TNE). We didn’t have a particular vision or venue location in mind, all we knew was the feel we wanted our wedding day to capture. Therefore, we choose to use TNE for a complete planning package. Lauren did all the research for us, found us venue options that met the feel we were looking for, outlined a detailed budget for each potential location and then helped us narrow the list down for site visits, which she also accompanied us on. Once we selected a venue, she helped with all vendor sourcing and vendor follow-up to secure all bookings. Just having one person be our point of contact during the planning process and responsible for all the follow up was worth the cost in itself for us. In the end, our wedding day was exactly how we hoped it would be, a day with all our friends and family members together in one room. Fantastic experience: Upon my first meeting with Lauren I knew that she was the right wedding planner for us. We hit it off right away and I felt like my non-traditional vision was completely understood. I was immediately impressed by her level of knowledge and organization and we felt completely at ease knowing she was running the show. Lauren is an excellent communicator and was always prompt with her replies- even when it wasn't a pressing matter. My husband and I decided we wanted a backyard wedding before we met with Lauren and she was so supportive and informative every step of the way. She was so thorough in regards to the day of procedure and I never felt worried that the day would be less than perfect. On the day of our wedding Lauren was an absolute superstar. It was 41 degrees Celsius yet she managed to be everywhere at the right time, making sure everything was going smoothly and that I was never without a drink in my hand. Fantastic experience: We are SO happy that we hired Lauren/Twelfth Night Events to help coordinate our wedding at Ivey Spencer Leadership Centre in London. Although we initially hired her as a Day of Coordinator, we quickly realized how valuable her help was, and switched to a Partial Planning package. Even though a Venue Coordinator was available to us, having someone who was completely invested in making the day perfect specifically for the two of us was invaluable. We initially did not realize how much work planning a wedding is, and that it takes a lot of time, effort, and organization to make the day run smoothly. We felt so much more calm and relaxed on our wedding day knowing that Lauren was behind the scenes actually making sure things got unpacked, set up, and laid out exactly how we pictured. It was also a relief not to be bombarded with questions when unexpected weather or venue problems popped up - Lauren made it clear to all our vendors, family, and friends, that she should be their first contact for problem solving. Showing up to the reception to a beautifully decorated dining room and garden room was amazing, we were so happy with how everything looked, and we didn't have to run around setting up things while trying to get ourselves ready. Lauren helped organize a last minute tent when the weather forecast changed a couple days before the wedding, and made sure the rental company placed the tent exactly where we wanted. She also has design contacts so we were able to get a beautiful greenery backdrop and chandelier for the head table, which we weren't even considering before meeting with her. She also handled a ceiling leak that started part way through the reception, and had our backs when the venue tried to change the seating layout and timeline because of it. She was especially helpful when figuring out the floor plan when we decided on a layout a bit different than what the venue typically suggests. She has inside knowledge of the wedding industry in the London area, and we were confident with the vendors we chose after talking to her. At the end of the night, she helped pack up our personal items and decor before leaving, which made it a lot easier for our family and friends. Our only regret is not hiring Lauren sooner to plan the entire wedding - we would totally trust her to plan our wedding from the start, and would have loved to just give her our vision and let her run with it to escape the stresses of booking a venue and vendors. But I'm glad we came to our senses midway through the planning process and grabbed Lauren while she was still available - she was worth every penny and we will be recommending her to all of our engaged friends and family.

Fantastic experience: I had no idea what goes into planning an event like a wedding prior to hiring Lauren. Luckily, I still don’t completely know what goes into it. What I do know is that my wedding was phenomenal and three months later we are still hearing about how beautiful and well-planned it was from our friends and family (even strangers that have seen our photos on social media). My partner and I had a vision of an ‘enchanted forest’ fairy tale wedding and that’s exactly what Lauren gave us in less than 10 months. For my job, I live in Halifax during the school year while my partner lives in London. When people heard we were planning our wedding, they looked at us in disbelief believing that it would be next to impossible while living so far apart. The wedding, an East Indian 2-day affair, with 300 guests, in Toronto, went off without a hitch. We didn’t have to worry about forgetting any important details because Lauren was on top of it. As two busy professionals, we couldn’t have had a wedding like this without Lauren. For that, we are so thankful.

I am a huge control freak and I needed to have full control over my wedding and Lauren was completely fine with that and WORKED WITH ME AS I WORKED FOR MYSELF. We had multiple meetings and what I love about Lauren and her team is that these meeting didn't always have to be in person but a mixture of phone calls, emails, and text messages. Lauren and her team are tech savvy in that they are informed and trained to communicate with brides and vendors using multiple technical devices. I like to describe Lauren as a chameleon as she is able to be firm yet professional with vendors which is needed when some are difficult to deal with, she is also able to be firm yet loving with brides like me who need to be told to take a step back and let her handle it. Lauren KNOWS WHAT SHE IS DOING, she has amazing vendors under her belt, and has a list of vendors bigger then you can imagine. It seemed as though when I needed something unusual like a vintage car or a saxophone and string quartet, she knew the professionals to contact. She is able to book and secure stops and services with vendors for brides. Lauren is detailed and nothing gets passed her, she is also creative and is able to work with decor and create focal points that just make you want to stop and stare and even shed a tear or two. Lauren and her team were extremely professional and provided quality customer service that was worth the money. They earn what they get paid to do. They went above and beyond the call of duty planning our wedding and making sure our wedding day was the most perfect, Lauren attended and made notes during every single vendor meeting, and she communicated with vendors so I didn't have to. I like to think of Lauren as a shield who protects her brides from the messiness that comes with booking vendors and noting the details. I was not stressed nor worried weeks before our wedding because I trusted Lauren and everything was done sooner than later thanks to her. Our wedding day was nothing short of spectacular. Nothing went wrong that day. Lauren handled EVERYTHING. She picked up the decor I wanted her to set up and created beautiful displays which reflected my personal flare and passion for antiques and vintage items; she made sure Adam and I were taken care of throughout the evening; she took care of envelopes with vendor payments, she created magical and show stopping tables, and finally she made sure EVERYONE did their job and it was perfect. Fantastic experience: When my husband and I got engaged, with the excitement also came the stress of having to plan a wedding. I didn’t know what vision/theme I wanted, or what vendors to contact. I began to stress over the enormity of planning the big day and realized this would be too much for me to plan on top of my already busy schedule. Whether you have a 50 person wedding, or a 300 person wedding this is an enormousous event. Lauren was the only option. Throughout our engagement Lauren’s professionalism and attention to detail never wavered, as she came along for meetings with vendors and helped us negotiate pricing, make adjustments to contracts and many more things I’m sure I have no idea about that happened behind the scenes. She suggested vendors that could provide the service and results that we wanted, and didn’t waste our time with vendors that could not. Lauren handled every email and correspondence from every vendor; most brides have overflowing inboxes and phones ringing off the hook. Not me! What I loved most about Lauren during our planning process was that little things that my husband or I mentioned to her that even WE forgot about, Lauren remembered. She genuinely cared about my husband and I, and it reflected in the every aspect of her work. When our big day finally arrived, we both simply got to be bride and groom, relax and take every moment in. There are so many things that happen the day before and the day of your wedding that brides have no idea about, or realize until the last minute, and Lauren handled them all. From paying vendors, to ensuring everything is set up according to contract and plan, dealing with any mishaps or changes to plan, and of course ensuring everything runs on schedule. As a strong A-type personality this was incredibly important to me, and Lauren blew my mind when it came to being even more A-type and organized than I was. From the first look, to walking down the aisle, to dinner service our entire day was absolutely perfect. I will never forget shortly before walking down the aisle, feeling incredibly anxious for my “big moment”, and seeing Lauren walking towards me. Immediately seeing Lauren eased all anxiety and stress, and I was able to only focus on my love for my husband, and of course looking fierce on my walk down the aisle!
