Fantastic experience: I wasn’t sure if we needed a day-of coordinator for our small wedding, but I can now safely say that hiring Monica was one of the best decisions we made. From our first conversation, I knew that we were in good hands. And when my hair and makeup ran almost an hour behind schedule, knowing that Monica was on-site was the only thing that kept me calm. Fantastic experience: Monica is the not so secret magical force behind our big day. She took on the stress of my vision so I didn't have to, coordinated and followed up with all our vendors, and when things inevitably went sideways on wedding day I didn't know about most of them because she had the problems solved before I ever knew. She's detailed oriented, kind, generous, and goes above and beyond to make your day "the best day ever!" While wedding planning can be stressful at times, she reassures you and makes you think if you had to do it all over again it would be worth it, just to have her in your corner! I fondly remember our first meeting when I told her we wanted chill wedding vibes (outdoors, tacos, and an evening dance party), to which she informed me that "chill vibes" didn't mean it wouldn't be complicated — and boy she was right! However, there was no moment planning this wedding that felt stressful which was all due to Monica taking charge. She helped us source an amazing DJ, communicated with external vendors on our behalf, and ensured the weekend ran smoothly. I kid you not, there was literally nothing that went wrong — and again, that was due to Monica's hard work. Fantastic experience: Monica made planning our destination wedding soooo easy. She helped us pick a dream location, navigate the overwhelming resort packages, and kept us on track through every step. She handled guests coming from all over (including big groups from NS and Alberta), managed an airline cancellation without missing a beat, and was on top of all the big communications with our family and friends. She even went above and beyond to proof everything so we never missed an important detail! If you’re thinking about a destination wedding and not sure if it’s worth hiring a planner, it 100% is. We had an initial meeting over zoom to discuss what we wanted, and Monica had amazing suggestions and recommendations for everything and connected us with all the vendors we needed. From the first meeting she made us feel at least about the wedding planning process and provided some great templates for us to follow. Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough good things about Monica. She did the month-of coordination for our wedding, and without her, I'm pretty sure I would have gone completely insane. I'm mostly aware of what she did before the day - confirming vendors, coordinating who would go where when, setting up our timeline (invaluable!!!) - but I honestly couldn't tell you everything she did on the day. That's because I was just wandering blissfully around while she handled everything behind the scenes. As far as I knew, everything was just magically perfect. Picture Perfect Events was able to work with our florist to ensure our wedding space looked as lovely as possible and utilized all of the provided decor beautifully. Monica truly alleviated our fears and worries surrounding our wedding and we were genuinely appreciative of all of her hard work and experience.

Fantastic experience: I'm a pretty organized person so jared and I weren't 100% sure that having a week-of wedding coordinator would be worth our money, but we decided to go with Monica to alleviate some of the stress on our family and bridal party on our wedding day so they could enjoy it without having to run around and help with last minute things. As the week before our wedding came, Monica became invaluable- keeping us on track, getting the itinerary made and changed countless times, and coordinating with all of the vendors. She drive around the city to do various pick-ups and drop-offs for us which I don't know what I would have done without, as I was busy with last minute things myself! On the day of, Monica took care of everything and the day went seamlessly- literally not a thing was out of place or went wrong. We are so so grateful that we made the decision to work with Monica because I think she was truly one of the most important parts in making our day flawless and as enjoyable for everyone as it was!
