From the very start, Shannon was tuned in and full of ideas to elevate our ceremony and reception space. The whole team was very familiar with our venue and had great insights to share. They conducted site visits with us and were great to speak with via email, and had multiple check-ins leading up to the big day. On the day of the wedding, I had the pleasure of watching the team unload and set up the ceremony space from my bridal suite across the road. It was fast, efficient, and thoughtfully curated. When my partner and I had our first look, one of the first things we said was "this space is gorgeous", and that was all thanks to ODA. They took a barebones patio and turned it into an oasis. I could not imagine getting married in a more beautiful space; it was a dream come true. Thank you, ODA!

One Day Affair was incredibly accommodating — they helped me update my order to suit the new venue and even provided personal recommendations and design insights to help, especially since we also lost our planner/coordinator with the venue cancellation. The florals themselves were stunning — beautiful quality, vibrant colors, and perfectly delivered. They were easy to transport and looked gorgeous in every setting. We also rented vases and centerpieces, which were equally beautiful and tied everything together perfectly. I would 1000% recommend One Day Affair for your floral needs. Their prices are reasonable, the service is unmatched, and they truly helped make our wedding day perfect. I’m beyond impressed and so grateful for their support! Expérience fantastique: ODA saved our wedding day decor! We had ordered greenery online and found out it wasn't going to make it on time the day before our event. I emailed ODA the night before asking if there was any way they could help, not expecting a response as it was so last minute, but they replied! They were familiar with our venue and sent photos in their email so I could see what there was to choose from. They had everything ready by 10am the day of our event and it looked perfect. Beautiful quality rentals and amazing staff. We couldn't thank them more!

Expérience fantastique: We worked with Shannon and her team from One Day Affair for our wedding at White Point Beach Resort last weekend. From the moment I spoke to Shannon, nearly 8 months ago, she immediately put me at ease. She's warm and full of ideas and advice. We live in the UK, so we planned everything over the phone / video call and she put together a moodboard to bring our vision to life, as we couldn't come into their venue until days before the wedding. We also had a strict budget, so she worked creatively with us and had the best ideas to help cut costs. The results were stunning - I was happier than I could even imagine. Everything looked so classy and gorgeous. I was worried the foliage and flowers would look fake not being real, but we couldnt have been happier! Shannon is also the master of bouquets - I was absolutely obsessed with mine (and my bridesmaids). I couldn't recommend One Day Affair more and I'm SO happy we worked with them for our special day.

Expérience fantastique: We hired Di Zhao from One Day Affair as our Day of Coordinator and would highly recommend her work! We had a somewhat non traditional and very queer wedding. Di was incredibly good at respecting our wishes while also generously sharing her wealth of wedding knowledge where it was relevant. Di is very detail oriented and took care of everything we asked her to as well as other details we hadn’t even considered. She has a calm and steady presence and was able to stay mostly in the background on the day while also keeping us reassured she had everything under control. We had a relatively low budget for our wedding but we made hiring Di one of our top priorities. It was the best choice we made to ensure we were able to be fully present and relaxed on our wedding day.

Expérience fantastique: My wife and I entrusted One Day Affair with our wedding and we could not have picked a better venue or planning team for our special day. Start to finish the planning team went out of their way to pick up sandwiches on our behalf, set up charcuterie boards and restocked them, and utilized our purchased colour coordinated goods to make our day perfect. They made the punch we wanted from a recipe as well, and everyone who attended was satisfied. We had around 30 guests and to be able to just show up with everything all ready for us was such a weight off our shoulders. If you're planning for a small intimate wedding in an amazing venue, of a big wedding and need an extra few pairs of hands I highly recommend One Day Social Affair.

She took the time to chat with us and had great suggestions for what the venue might need to make it feel more like a wedding. All the florals looked great and complimented our venue perfectly.

Expérience fantastique: We rented various pieces for our wedding ceremony and reception after seeing the company used in a friend's wedding. Everything upon pick-up was so beautiful, realistic, and in great condition. The staff we encountered at pick-up and drop-off were very friendly and helpful. The website could benefit from more information to help those unable to visit the showroom, but I found any email I sent with questions was responded to very quickly.

Laura was amazing to work with to figure out exactly what decor we needed, and she did a great job helping us plan a beautiful setup. All the decor and florals looked amazing! We really appreciated having the team help setup and take down on the day of, which alleviated a lot of our stress. I highly recommend the team at ODA for any event decor needs!

They were all very warm, welcoming and knowledgeable, and they went the extra mile to make sure that everything was just how we envisioned it. We chose the Lux Plus Package which was perfect for our needs. They took care of so much for us, so we could just show up and enjoy the day. Expérience fantastique: Updated to include photos of my bouquet and the floral pieces on our arch! ODA was fantastic to work with and took SO much stress off us. Their arrangements were gorgeous and we received compliments all day on our flowers !!! We saved a pile of money too! An absolute must! Corrina was amazing and made the process so easy. This is also a MUCH more affordable way do go about decor and flowers. This was a gigantic stressor, but now it's just excitement because we've found what we wanted! We were taken through ideas and color options, along with people shown the impact of textures within the arrangements. The arbor corner shown isn't our exact one, but the tester being used to go through colors and pick specific flowers. Corrina showed us ones that would pop with photos compared to softer ones and took all of our wedding colors, my dress, and the theme into consideration effortlessly. I can't recommend here enough! If we'd realized they had a micro wedding venue on site before we booked ours, this is where we would be getting married!

I reached out and they were absolutely lovely to work with. My husband and I initially just rented our decor/flowers through ODA, but over time we added on delivery/set-up as well as coordination. We received loads of compliments on the decor and flowers - no one could believe they were faux florals! Di was our coordinator and was an absolute delight. She is so knowledgeable, so kind, so helpful, and so professional. She is truly incredible at her job. I honestly don't know what I would have done without her. She took over so many of the things that I was finding stressful, like organizing the vendors. One day affair helped with planning on the lead up to the wedding and then came to the Thinkers Lodge in Pugwash to set up the venue for the event. I am not sure how we would have managed without them. They are fabulous! It was like having our dear friends supporting us. Their attention to detail is incredible. The flowers from the bouquet to the table decorations were stunning! The most beautiful colours! Thank you Shannon and team! We highly recommend them, you will not regret, worth every penny!

As a fairly “type A” person who likes things done a certain way, they took my vision and executed it more beautifully than I could have ever imagined. Their attention to detail and expertise in wedding decor and event planning was second to none. They guided me through the whole process so flawlessly. Having the option to rent everything except chairs from one Day Affair took so much off my plate during the organizing and planning. They knew exactly what was needed and took care of so many elements that I probably wouldn’t have thought of. I was so happy to have them take care of the set up and takedown of our entire ceremony and reception, which allowed us and our families to worry only about having a great time. I don’t think I would have ever thought to rent silk flowers for my wedding day, but my friend used One Day Affair as well and I had absolutely no idea that her flowers weren’t real. I was able to help design my bouquets and they turned out so perfectly. I had several comments from guests about how beautiful all of the florals were and each time they were shocked when I told them they were silk. Saving a ton of money on flowers allowed us to have a band at our reception which was amazing. Honestly though - money aside, I’d use their silk flowers again any day. They are just as beautiful, don’t wilt, and are more environmentally friendly. Laura and Shannon treat you like family and will execute your event flawlessly. I can’t recommend them enough!! Get the voicemail guest book!!!! It is worth its weight in gold. We laughed and cried listening to messages from our guests that we will have forever. I cherish them so much already, but they will be even more special many years from now when our loved ones have passed and we can still listen to their voices with words of support on our special day.

We had visited the ODA warehouse to take a look at the floral options and were blown away by the beautiful high-quality faux florals available. Expérience fantastique: Shannon is amazing!! We couldn’t be happier about our decision to hire a wedding decorator and to work with One Day Affair. The best decision ever! We were planning our wedding from a different province and we couldn’t have done it without Shannon. She visited both the ceremony and reception venues, took photos/videos and shared with us, and it was so helpful. Shannon was amazing at keeping things on budget. We were concerned that we’d be pushed into spending more than our initial budget but that was NEVER the case. She was 100% on our side, suggesting ways to cut budget (repurposing the ceremony arbor for the sweetheart table backdrop, where to use faux flowers vs. fresh) and was very transparent about prices. She also had so much knowledge about weddings and made everything so easy for us. We were having a hard time finding a florist and a printing company in the region. Shannon was so kind to recommend vendors and we ended up working with them, they were also great. Due to her extensive experience, Shannon had worked with both of our venues, so she was able to give some tips and ideas that others couldn’t. We also want to say that she was very good at supporting us emotionally. Planning for a wedding can be very stressful, but she was always there to answer our questions. She always kept calm whenever we reached out to her out of panic, and found solutions for us. It was such a relief just to work with her. I couldn't help (almost) shedding tears when I was walking down the aisle because everything Shannon had done was just breathtakingly beautiful. We’ll forever be grateful for making our day so special. ❤️❤️❤️

Expérience fantastique: One day affair was our decorator/florist for our wedding this past weekend and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding decorator! Shannon was amazing to deal with from the start, she really helped our vision come to light with her vision board as well. The bouquets also looked amazing, at a first glance my mom thought they were real flowers and only noticed they weren't when trying to smell them! Our reception was decorated to perfection and it took away so much stress from us not having to worry about the decor.

Expérience fantastique: Shannon was incredible to work with from start to finish! From our initial consultation, she was honest, respectful, punctual, and professional. She knows the industry extremely well, and has an excellent network. She invited me to her shop several times to view items, go over plans, revisit old thoughts, go through my Pinterest board, and she helped me organize my thoughts. She also went to my venue with my mom as I am from out of town and she would video call me to go through the plans so I was included in every step. For over 2 years, she answered my questions, calls and emails in a timely manner (and there were a lot!). Every time I spoke to her, she knew exactly what was needed and where we were in the planning process. She’s organized and a lot of fun to work with. She eliminates so much of the stress by finding all the decor and items, working with other vendors and coordinating all drop-offs, pick-ups and cleanups. That was a huge relief as once the wedding was over, she handled and returned everything while I got to enjoy the day after my wedding with family and friends. Shannon and her team were wonderful. I really liked the final days leading up to my wedding when she had me in her shop to custom build my bouquet. I never liked or cared for flowers until that day and now I am obsessed. She brought in gorgeous purple flowers and the team, myself and my mom kept gushing over the colours. She has an amazing eye for detail that helped bring my vision to life. My jaw dropped when I walked into the venue after her and her team had set up. They were also fantastic and helped switched the outdoor ceremony to the indoor reception. My guests are still raving about the flowers, tall centerpieces and hanging crystals. Even down to gold rhinestones on the glass cylinders, Shannon goes above and beyond and was a joy to work with. I highly recommend One Day Affair Wedding Decor Design if you want to have the wedding of your dreams.

Shannon and Laura and Corinna (I hope I spelled that right) have done everything they can to make sure every rental item and floral arrangement is perfect; even at the last minute. I can't recommend them enough!

She listened and understood my vision for the wedding. Her ideas were on point, and the designs were stunning. She is extremely talented and the faux bouquets designed were gorgeous ( I helped but it was mostly her creativity that brought it together). I cannot recommend Shannon and her team enough!!!!

As a couple who was planning a wedding in a province they did not live in (NS but we live in Calgary), Shannon made us feel completely at ease throughout the entire planning process. She went above and beyond so many times leading up to the day-of; meeting with vendors, conducting a site visit, and ultimately offering up her own creative genius while still listening to ideas we had. She is so talented but on top of that she is just a genuinely kind person who will make the planning process a positive experience for you. On the day of the wedding, we were completely blown away by how amazing of a job her and her team had done on both the ceremony and reception spaces. The moment we snuck into our reception space to see it before any guests had arrived, and had the overwhelming feeling of "I can't believe this is all for us", we knew we had Shannon and her team to thank.
