Expérience fantastique: If I could give Kathryn more than 5 stars, I would. She was a dream from start to finish. Helped us stay on target with planning, helped us delay the wedding due to COVID, then helped us throw our absolute DREAM wedding last weekend. I did not have to worry about a single thing my entire wedding day. Everything was set up, placed, arranged etc. beautifully and the entire day ran so smoothly. She even sewed me into my dress when I ripped it right before the ceremony! She saved the day from start to finish. You NEED to hire Kathryn for your wedding day!

Expérience fantastique: Hiring Kathryn as our day-of coordinator was one of the best wedding planning decisions we made! Our wedding was the day after Hurricane Fiona hit Halifax - our reception venue was without electricity, some of our vendors cancelled the day-of, we had major changes to our guest list -- there were many unexpected challenges, and Kathryn found creative solutions efficiently and with grace. Our wedding was beautiful, and though it wasn't what we planned for, we were able to enjoy the day because of all her support in the background. Kathryn was also was extremely organized leading up to the wedding day, providing us with many recommendations and tips. Kathryn is such a professional and we strongly recommend her.

Expérience fantastique: If you're wondering if you need a wedding planner or day of planner. It's not 'do' you need it, it's 'do I hire Kathryn now or later?' From the start, Kathryn blew us away! After leaving our first meeting she had a in-depth email with all the vendors she recommends, questions to ask and dates to have them booked. Then as we got closer and used her Wedding Planning software, we were able to track our checklist, this was such a great feature. I'm a licensed wedding planner so I know you NEED at least a day of planner, and Kathryn & Ellen were a dream on our wedding day. I had a lot of friends & family mention how amazing she was and how she took care of everything. Can't say enough how much we loved having here there for us!

Once we met with her it was obvious how beneficial she would be to helping us plan and execute our big day. She is extremely organized, on the ball, and easy to communicate with. Her insights and knowledge of event etiquette and logistics (from wedding day itinerary to vendor contracts) are invaluable. We were so impressed with her ability to understand our ideas, channel them and have our day look exactly as we hoped. Kathryn was imperative to allowing us and our loved ones to really enjoy this celebration without having to fuss over details that she shouldered. We're forever grateful for the service she provided and happy to now call her a friend.

Neither my husband or I had any experience with weddings as we embarked on planning our own, but Kathryn guided us through the entire process and made it an enjoyable experience. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the various vendors in Halifax and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. Kathryn was impeccably organized when creating a timeline for the wedding day and even provided us with behind the scenes videos. She went above and beyond the call of duty by offering to help pick up decor items and even came with me to try on wedding dresses! On top of her unbeatable skillset, she is a kind, sweet, easy-going person, but also knows how to advocate for you when the time is needed. Kathryn is an exceptional wedding planner and any couple would be lucky to work with her!

Expérience fantastique: We had the best possible experience with Kathryn. She was hired to be our day-of coordinator, but it felt like she handled much much more than that. She was so on top of everything, and kept us completely on track. The checklist that she gave us was so helpful, and made me feel like we had nothing to worry about. She is such a kind-souled person, so sweet, calm and reassuring. We had a couple small last minute changes and she handled them with ease. When it came to decorating the venue, we left everything in her hands, and it came out better than we could've ever imagined. We had so many compliments all throughout the night from our guests, and we were mind-blown at how our vision came to life. We cannot thank Kathryn (and her assistant Ellen) enough for everything.

Expérience fantastique: Kathryn was amazing to work with from start to finish. To start she helped us with our timeline for the day and decor details which I found were very important to me. I had an idea of what I wanted the space to look like and flow of the day but she offered lots of advice and executed perfectly. Planning during COVID was very frustrating but she rolled with the punches and always made plan B's for us. The days leading up to and day of our wedding she was excelllent! The venue was very impressed by her spreadsheets and organization. This is probably why everything went so smoothly and I felt like I was a guest at my own wedding. She knew exactly what we wanted the flow of the day to be. In the beginning , I was unsure if I needed a wedding coordinator throughout the wedding planning process but I am so happy that I met Kathryn of KM Weddings and Events and I would recommend her and her team to anyone!

Expérience fantastique: Kathryn and her team are absolutely amazing! She is so professional and organized, my other vendors were extremely impressed with the timeline she had put together! She made the entire day go by seamlessly, and I couldn’t imagine going through my wedding day without her! She was an absolute joy to work with, and was so helpful with each meeting we had. She’ll listen to exactly what you want, and help bring that vision to life. After every meeting you will get “homework items” to help stay on track which was very helpful! 10/10 would recommend :)

She worked with us through our pandemic wedding, postponing, switching venues and changing our guest count. She made everything go so smoothly for us and our COVID wedding was better then I could have ever imagined. Expérience fantastique: KM Wedding & Event Co was our day of coordinator for our wedding. The team also helped with setup, takedown, and reinforced covid protocols as a business host. Going with Kathryn and her team was the best decision of our wedding! She was so pleasant, professional, and organized. We have very little event planning experience, and Kathryn thought of absolutely everything. Our day went extremely smoothly thanks to her.

Expérience fantastique: I was planning an elopement to Cape Breton but hadn't been there before and was unfamiliar with the area. Sometimes it can be hard to differentiate between good value and good marketing when you're looking online. I booked Kathryn to help me navigate in an unfamiliar area. She was very responsive and professional from the start and even though I only booked her on a consultation basis she gave my problems and worries her full attention, provided some very handy documents that I used and referenced the entire time I planned and provided on-going support that went above and beyond what our agreement entitled me to. I have felt the entire time that Kathryn has had my best interests at heart and has a sincere passion for seeing wedding dreams come true. Honestly, there were many times when I felt like I should have booked her full elopement package and I am sure it would have been worth every penny.

Planned a substantial two day wedding while navigating pandemic restrictions and uncertainty. Expérience fantastique: I recently had the pleasure of working with Kathryn at a wedding and styled shoot that she organized and hosted at Planters Ridge Winery. I could not have had a better experience with a wedding planner and would highly recommend her ! She was so knowledgeable and professional and worked very hard to make sure every detail was perfectly thought out and executed. Her communication skills with all of the vendors involved was excellent and there was never a time when we were left asking a question. It takes excellent organizational skills to manage vendors and coordinate schedules and Kathryn is seasoned pro. We had a few unexpected complications and she handled every one in stride and presented solutions for them all. Her styling for both the wedding and styled shoot was impeccable. From the selection of the gorgeous chairs for the ceremony to the fine details of the ribbon chosen to attach the gift tags to the guest favor, every detail was well thought out and stunning. She has a gift for bringing a couples vision to life. I will be recommending her to all of our future clients and am very much looking forward to working with her again. Expérience fantastique: I've had the pleasure of working with Kathryn twice now. Most recently, she organized a super intimate & romantic day of elopements - for which I was the photographer. She is SO organized, and is just an absolute wealth of knowledge in terms of our wedding industry. We had a few problems along the event planning process (which is natural), and Kathryn never stopped advocating for us. She made sure we got the best deal we could get, while also knowing the rules of the industry and what could and couldn't be done. I've learned so much from working with her, and I would absolutely hire her to plan more events in the future! I'll be recommending her to all my couples.
