Expérience fantastique: We hired Julie K Events for our wedding in Fox Harb'r in October 2022 for 1 day of wedding coordinator services. Overall we are very pleased with the day of coordination that Jenn (Julie’s colleague) delivered. She arrived early and got everything done on time. We didn’t have to worry about any décor/coordination/vendor arrangements etc. at all because she took care of everything. She is very organized and great to work with! One tiny critique – during the wedding planning time a couple months before the wedding there was a bit of lag time in getting responses. This year was particularly busy given that everyone was catching up from Covid, but we were still a bit concerned at the time. That being said about 4 weeks into the big day the team really pulled it together and delivered a great service. Overall we would highly recommend Julie K Events

Expérience négative: I hired Julie for my wedding and she seemed unprepared. We paid her $1800. We hired her so my family wouldn’t have to do any grunt work during the wedding but they ended up doing a lot of the work. I also found out a week later that she was posting fat phobic things on her twitter account and insulting a relationship between a heavier set woman and her thinner husband. This is not very professional for someone that is supposed to be helping couples and their weddings.

Expérience fantastique: Where to start.. I didn’t think I needed a day of (month of) coordinator/planner.. until I did. I was late to the game and it was about a month until my wedding and I reached out to Julie as I was getting pretty overwhelmed. Julie took over exactly where I needed her to and I walked into my wedding without one single stress. Not one! If you’re even considering these services as an option, Julie is your girl. She is made for this and I couldn’t be any happier with how my day was because of her. There aren’t enough thank you’s in the world!

Expérience fantastique: It is rare that you have a vision and find it becoming a reality in the hands of a complete stranger. We got lucky to have had that happen with Julie! We walked into the venue the day of wedding and Julie had turned our vision into a real life fairytale! Julie oversaw everything we had planned from beginning to end. She appeared to be everywhere in her quiet, but "in control" manner from early morning until late evening. Planning my daughter and son-in-law's wedding in Halifax from Montreal was scary. I was facing the challenge of not knowing a single vendor in Halifax. Julie provided us names and recommendations and each one was fantastic! We had a "dream team" headed by Julie, making it happen for us and we are so grateful to her for helping to make the night one we will always reflect upon with joy and big smiles.

Expérience fantastique: We hired Julie as our wedding planner 6 months ago for our wedding in​ August. We were very stressed at the beginning because this year is a busy year for wedding, and we knew nothing about how to plan a wedding. Hiring Julie is one of the best decisions we have ever made. She is a fun and polite person; she always has smile on her face. When we felt the pressure and we saw her smile during the planning, we could relax and smile, too. She was patient and willing to listen our concerns and demands. She is professional, methodical and organized, she has the magic to make whatever you need to happen. She worked with us closely on all the details and helped us to communicate with all kinds of vendors. She managed the wedding date perfectly, there were a few problems occurred during the wedding, but Julie came out with the solutions almost immediately. We had a stress-free wedding because of her, and we are so grateful. She also helped us to deal with things after the wedding so we could enjoy our honeymoon. We are 100% satisfied. Would recommend Julie to whoever wants to have a perfect wedding(event). We want to give her 6 stars if we can.

Expérience fantastique: We were lucky enough to have Julie as our wedding planner for not only day-of coordination but partial planning support as well! We hired Julie in 2019 when we got engaged and knew from our first conversation that she would be the perfect match for us! Flash forward to 2022 (3 years in the making due to a pandemic - Julie supported us through it all!!), we finally had our perfect day, and could not have done it without her! From contacting vendors prior to the wedding and on the day of the wedding, providing us with hard to source items, flipping our decor in both the ceremony and reception spaces and guiding us on all our decisions, we couldn't have asked anything more from Julie! She was our eyes and ears on the ground in Nova Scotia as we were planning our wedding from BC, and she did not disappoint! She was always available for a quick Zoom call meeting, or email/text for any planning needs we had. We can not recommend Julie enough - 10 star service!!

Expérience fantastique: After months of procrastination waiting for COVID restrictions to be lifted, my fiancé and I decided to elope. I contacted Julie after reading an article about an island helicopter elopement package she offers. I told her we wanted it to happen within 3 weeks, which is very little notice. She planned it in a week! The planned officiant got sick last minute but Julie somehow managed to find an awesome replacement right away. Julie was already booked that day, which I completely understand, given how last minute it was. However, her assistant was there to make sure we were all set up for the island! We were treated as royalty from the time we entered the airport to the time we left. The team she has put together are true professionals. The pilot offered to light a bonfire for us, being mid-April in Halifax, it was really windy! The thought was warmed my heart enough! I felt like a princess on my special day! The whole experience was AMAZING and I would highly recommend hiring Julie to do your planning for you. The thought of doing it myself was giving me severe anxiety but Julie takes all that stress away. The only thing I had to focus on was marrying the love of my life! I will be gloating from this experience for years!!!

Expérience fantastique: Julie K was our wedding day coordinator for our wedding in Mabou, Cape Breton - and it was easily one of the best decisions that we made for our event. Julie well exceeded our expectations, and then some. She wore many hats during the day, and communicated so well with all parties involved to make sure things ran smoothly. Expérience fantastique: Our Angels : Julie & her team Julie and her team, have been truly a life-saver for us. With short notice (one month), logistics challenges, self-isolation (we were international traveler from outside Canada) and the wedding scheduled only 4 days after the last day of our self-isolation what we thought was impossible became reality with Julie’s intervention. We had absolutely nothing arranged for our wedding as Covid was playing havoc with our special day. Julie stepped in and took charge. Julie was exactly what we needed. Our wedding could not have been more beautiful. A very intimate event with family in a magical venue. I get tears in my eyes just thinking about our wedding and looking at our wedding photos. It truly has left us speechless. What impressed us most is we felt like we could trust her with everything ! Julie was very flexible and creative in meeting all our needs. Most of all she was patient with our unique situation. I remember getting off the phone once with her and my husband commenting how incredible patient and caring she was.
