We hired Radhika for full‑service planning, since we’re generally quite busy, and it was absolutely worth it. She kept everything organized, clear, and moving forward without ever making the process feel overwhelming. Because we’re based in Seattle, her support was especially helpful. She took the lead in connecting with and coordinating our Victoria‑based vendors, kept everyone aligned, and made sure no details slipped through the cracks. Her communication was always proactive and reassuring. Our wedding day went so smoothly, and as the couple getting married, we genuinely had a blast. She was endlessly patient, accommodating, and empathetic — even when we were overwhelmed, indecisive, or threw her a few curveballs, she never missed a beat. Living in Atlanta while planning a wedding in Victoria meant we leaned on her constantly, and she became our trusted source for everything from decor and vendors to restaurants and parks. Every recommendation she gave was spot-on, and we quickly learned we could trust her judgment implicitly. Expérience fantastique: Let me just put it straight and simple: You should hire Rad as your wedding planner. She was awesome. We were married on Vancouver Island this past July. Our day went off without a hitch, we didn't have to worry about a thing, and we had a blast. She's got a great system for organizing the lead up to and the event itself. Her communication is clear, concise, and prompt. She cares about curating the day to be unique to you. Certainly her authenticity and attention to detail shone thru when one of the buttons on my suit came loose and she pulled out a sewing kit to patch it back up herself only five minutes before our ceremony started! We hired her to work with us for the 2 months before our wedding, and she did an incredible job of taking what we had and making it spectacular. She's incredibly organized, asks a lot of really good questions, is really open to ideas, has a sensitivity to difficult family dynamics, and is on board to do things differently if that's what you want. She gave us ideas for involving our community in the ceremony when we sought them, has the resources and connections to help determine if something can be done, and she and her team were down to do a lot of time- consuming set up (and got it done!) including a complicated seating chart and photo display. She problem solved on the day of when we ran into unexpected issues and saved the day. Of note, Rad was not the first coordinator I'd worked with, but she is certainly the best. She's also really genuinely kind and lovely to work with.

Professional, knowledgeable, efficient and organized, all that we could ask for in a wedding coordinator and more. Expérience fantastique: There are 2 pieces of advice we could give when planning a wedding (1) get a wedding coordinator, most of us don’t plan events for a living, save yourself the stress and get someone who will help you (2) if you’re getting married in Victoria and the surrounding area, hire Rad and her team. Rad was our month of coordinator and made sure we were prepared for the day by putting together timelines & questionnaires (with information we didn’t even think of while planning ourselves). On the actual wedding day we felt as relaxed as we could be knowing that all the logistics of the wedding were being taken care of by Rad and her team. They’re the best investment you can make for your wedding day to make sure it runs smoothly and ours turned out better than we could have imagined and we credit that to Rad. Also Rad is just incredibly sweet and we loved working with her.

Expérience fantastique: Wedding planning can be stressful enough as it is, but throw in a pandemic and it can be absolute mayhem - Unless you have Rad in your corner. My husband and I hired Rad as our month-of, day-of coordinator about a year ago when we were planning our large wedding, and from the get-go, she was the calming presence we needed. Rad is incredibly organized and seems to always have the answer to any questions you may have. When Covid hit, Rad was the first of our vendors to reach out to us to check in and discuss how we wanted to proceed, ensuring we understood our options and proposing ideas we hadn't even thought of. We eventually decided to cancel the wedding we'd been planning for almost two years, and instead have a very small micro wedding in the backyard of my husband's childhood home. Rad was with us every step of the way, and continuously went above and beyond to ensure that our day went smoothly, and most importantly safely. If you want to have the most carefree, best day of your life, do yourself a favour and hire Rad Occasions!!

Rad has been amazing since day one and has helped us so much with planning our special day. Rad communicated with us often since restrictions were put in place and made sure the process was easy for us to postpone to a new date. Expérience fantastique: Rad and her team are amazing! I first saw them in action at a friend's wedding in 2018 and I knew I wanted them for ours, a year later in 2019. Rad and Nikkita made things so easy for us. They are so welcoming and attentive from beginning to end. I was able to put my micro managing nature to the side, knowing they took care of everything. I even set aside time for my wedding party to help out, but they didn't need it! They have great suggestions and are really experts at event planning. I highly recommend them, and will continue to recommend them to all my friends and family. They are totally worth it! Our wedding went so smoothly and I wouldn't have had the time to enjoy it without them.

Expérience fantastique: We hired Rad as our month-of-coordinator and it was definitely one of the best decisions we made. I consider myself a fairly organized person and am kind of a control freak. I have trouble relying others to get things done the way that I want it. However, being the bride, I didn't exactly have the time to do everything myself. The fact that my husband and I live in the U.S. also did not help. So, with some encouragement from my friends and vendors who insisted that having someone else handle all the miscellaneous details would be worth it, we decided to shop around for a day-of/month-of coordinator. As I had mentioned before, I am a control freak and I wanted to design and incorporate DIY items into my wedding. I also like to work on my own timeline since it is easier for me. Thus, we mostly wanted a planner to help set things up for us. Rad's services most aligned with what we were looking for and after speaking with her on the phone, we also learned how patient and easy to get along with she is. I knew it would be perfect for someone as indecisive as myself. As for the actual services, we hired her around February when our wedding was in late September. Rad always responded to my e-mails in a prompt and professional manner and always kindly let me know if something I wanted done wasn't feasible. With her experience however, she would suggest other options when appropriate, which was incredibly helpful. These were definitely not things I had expected her to do, but honestly, every encounter with Rad was always very helpful. As someone that does not work in the wedding field, there are just too many factors that people don't think about. We also spoke during more formal meetings so that she could be updated with my plans to prepare for the actual day itself and the creation of a timeline. Trust me, having an experienced planned assist with this is crucial as she allowed for a lot of buffer time in case things ran late. On the actual day, I was originally going to ask members of our wedding party to help with setting up all the decor and furniture. However, Rad made it so that my wedding party was free to enjoy themselves without having to help with set up at all. From essentially setting up our sparkler send off, to having her assistant pick up and drop off our bouquets for photos prior to getting to the venue... without having to ask our groomsmen to do it (to name a few of the things that her team did), the Rad Occasions team handled, and I must stress this: Every. Little. Thing. To be honest, I had trouble letting go of some of the control with the set up on the actual day. For the most part, Rad and her team followed my so-called decor vision, but as I wasn't able to actually see these decor items set up in person beforehand, there were some practical/functional issues that her team was able to resolve in a way that actually made the decor even better than I had in mind! Additionally, not having to worry about the take-down at the end of the night was also wonderful. I think the only constructive feedback I would give is to potentially give the bride or whomever is planning most of the wedding an agenda of what would be discussed during the planned meetings. However, I think this is more for brides like me that can't really be put on the spot and have to take time to think things through first. This may not matter to others that already know what they intend to do. I probably just overthink and am too indecisive! I have already told her this, but I honestly thought I could've handled this myself and boy, was I so incredibly wrong. I am SO thankful for Rad and her team. Their services was definitely well worth the investment! You won't regret working with her. :)

We had a ton of drama in regards to my inlaws and Radhika was patient, kind and so understanding. She holds herself with the utmost of professionalism and wears her heart on her sleeve. Every aspect of the day was flawless and it shows that rad puts 110 % in all she does.The wedding went through beautifully..no hiccups whatsoever. My family and I were so grateful to rad and her team for all that they do. I look forward to working with Radhika of Rad occassions again in future events. Rad goes out of her way always for her clients, I see her take the time to Create strong relationships, valuing who her couples are what makes them unique. Rad's entire team is professional, well mannered, understanding, compassionate and knowledgeable. This company is something Rad has spent her time creating, growing and learning about. She has mastered the ins and outs of the industry and what an event needs to run perfectly, and offers her clients all of the information they need with out hesitation. I am saddened to see the slander on both her google reviews and facebook by a clients family, how ever I think this shows more about who they are than who Rad is. Expérience négative: Very disappointed with Rad Occasions. Poor attitude and defaulted on contractual obligations which caused a lot of stress. Not a service I would recommend!

Expérience négative: Rad entered into our wedding agreement without the intention of fulfilling it, she was quite willing to walk away with our deposit early on in the process. Most businesses cannot operate in bad faith like this. I do not recommend her services.

Expérience négative: Radhika was contracted for month of coordination. She kept the 50% deposit and did not perform services, quitting before the month began. Generally speaking, Radhika caused confusion, was unprofessional, increased costs and was not conscious of our wishes.

Expérience fantastique: I could not have asked for a harder working wedding planner than Rad. She helped to plan, coordinate, and flawlessly execute our wedding in Mexico, and we could not have asked for a more perfect day! There is a misconception that destination weddings plan themselves, and my husband and I learned very quickly that that is NOT the case. Many challenges come with planning a wedding from such a distance, with extreme delays in resort responses to questions for example - Rad always put any worries I had at immediate ease, and I would not have had such an amazing, stress-free day without her!

Expérience fantastique: Rad was absolutely amazing and professional from day one of working with her. She was our day-of coordinator for our wedding at the Prestige Hotel in Sooke and went above and beyond to make our day easy for us. Firstly, she was so speedy in email correspondence and provided a great complementary first meeting (where of course I knew immediately that I HAD to have her for our day). We also had two other meetings - a month before and two weeks before to iron out all the details. Having her kept me organised in planning the big day (she really does think of all the little details). She set up and took down all our decorations so all we had to do was drop them off and pick them up. On the actual day of she was totally there to take care of everything. We had an incident where one of our entrees for the dinner was missing and I passed it off to her to work with the venue to deal with the situation. As I had her to help sort it out, I got to continue on with my night without stress. Rad's services are worth every penny and she works hard to earn every cent!

Expérience fantastique: I know you're on the fence about hiring a day of coordinator. I know you're asking yourself if what they do is really worth it. But it is. Do you know exactly when to start walking down the isle? Do you really want to be dealing with your iphone playlists when you want to play your ceremony music, then change it for appetizers, then change it for dinner, etc? Do you want to leave all your guests to deal with the vendors? The weather changed the day of the wedding and everything had to be moved inside while I was away getting pre-ceremony photos taken. I honestly do not even know what I would have done without Radhika. She kept me from becoming a Bridezilla, and that's all I can ask for.

Expérience fantastique: Asking Rad to be part of our team was one of the best decisions my husband and I made while planning our wedding. As a first time bride, there were many aspects of wedding planning I found overwhelming and I knew I would need help. My husband and I wanted to avoid tasking our friends and family with decorating or being a point of contact for vendors, and we knew we would need to hire someone. The minute we met Rad we instantly felt more at ease, and bringing the details of the wedding together seemed possible, if not pretty easy! She made us feel valuable, well looked after, and she worked hard to understand what we had in mind for our wedding day. Rad worked with us to sort out some final details in the month before the wedding and was helpful to remind us of outstanding tasks. She worked wonders coordinating all the vendors and creating a timeline for the day so each vendor knew when they were supposed to arrive. She did the set-up and take-down of decor, and that task alone was worth her fee. She was truly helpful at our rehearsal, to ensure that the entire bridal party and commissioner were all on the same page and knew what to expect. Rad made it possible for my husband and I and our friends and family to truly enjoy the day without having to worry about any details or tasks. Her help was invaluable, and I truly believe our wedding wouldn't have been anywhere near as easy and seamless if we had not had her help. I would recommend Rad, and Rad Occasions to absolutely everyone. She is wonderful!
