Expérience fantastique: Megan was beyond amazing! She was so organized, and went above and beyond for us. We had nothing to worry about on the wedding day, she made sure the decor was perfect, met the DJ when he arrived, handled music for the ceremony, wrangled a massive bridal party, made sure everyone ate in a timely manner, and I know she did a million other things I didn't see. She had us on task leading up to the day as well, and made the whole process so smooth and easy. Not sure what we would have done without her, but she was an absolute life saver. Expérience fantastique: Going into the wedding planning process, we had no intention of working with a day coordinator. As two very Type-A people, we were confident that we would be able to take care of everything on our own – and boy, were we wrong. We were given the opportunity to meet with Abigail, Megan, Tiffany and Chelsea virtually in the months and weeks leading up to the big day, and we can confidently say that the day would not have been the success that it was without their help. Day of, Abigail and Chelsea immediately jumped right in, from straightening out every tiny detail of our décor, to running back and forth to communicate between the two of us prior to first look, and even giving unexpected plus ones the boot when they showed up uninvited. Our friends and family have not stopped raving about how smoothly and perfectly the entire day went, and this is all thanks to the lovely ladies of MSW. We will be recommending their services to every single person we know that is planning a wedding, and will never run out of amazing things to say about them. If you’re on the fence about utilizing a coordinator, take this as your sign.

Expérience fantastique: Even as an event planner myself, I would always recommend having a wedding planner in some capacity - whether you do a full planning package or just a day-of coordinator. I chose Megan as our day-of coordinator and I didn't have to worry about a thing all day (and leading up to the day). Megan is very calm, organized and reliable and goes above and beyond!

Expérience fantastique: I’ll admit, I didn’t think we needed a day‑of coordinator. My wife is one of the most organized people I know — every box was labeled, there were floor plans, an index, and every detail thought through. But I saw firsthand how quickly things could have fallen apart without Megan. Her and her team were kind, hard‑working, and handled every hiccup before I even realized there was a problem. When my wife’s dress broke, Megan was there, sewing it back together with a emergency kit, calm and focused. She stayed up until 4 a.m. unloading boxes after the wedding, and then came back the next morning so she wouldn’t disturb us. It wasn’t just her skill, it was her heart. She cared about our day as much as we did, and that made all the difference. Megan is worth every dollar, and I’m grateful she was there to make sure our wedding was everything we hoped it would be.

Expérience fantastique: My daughter hired Megan and her team initially for set up and take down for their wedding, but expanded their service to include the overall design as well. Megan was absolutely FANTASTIC throughout the entire process, always being mindful of my daughter’s budget, accommodating any changes we wanted and completely organizing and overseeing all of the rentals and florals. When we walked into the venue, the design far exceeded my expectations (not easy to do, as I am quite particular and detail-oriented myself) - the vendors she worked with (especially the florists, “little daisy florals” in Calgary), did a wonderful job and were reasonably priced. The rentals she brought in from outside or from her own inventory were elegant and high end quality. She really listened to the overall look my daughter wanted and transformed the space to reflect that in every way. As for the set up and take down service, what a treat to not have to worry about setting up and then to arrive the next morning and find all of the rentals gone and our personal items neatly arranged for our easy pick up. She was honest, never pushy, reliable and thorough. I would recommend Megan to anyone who was looking for someone who is personable, accessible (always responded in a reasonable amount of time), guaranteed to listen to your vision and budget and went above and beyond what she needed to in every way. With all the stress that comes with planning and executing a wedding, choosing Megan would be the best decision any bride (or MOB) could make. Can’t say enough!!

Megan handled almost all of the vendor coordination for the last month or so up until the day-of, took a ton of things off our plates, and even did things like suggest vendors for items we hadn't booked yet. Megan was busy the day of our wedding, but she hired an on-site coordinator, Mia, who was amazing - everything went super smoothly, and it was so great for us to know Mia had everything in hand so we could enjoy the day - as well as an assistant coordinator and a few additional people to help set up. Our venue had a really, really short time frame for set-up but Mia and the other assistants handled everything for us, it was all totally done and we basically just had to walk up; at the end of the night Mia handed us a couple of boxes of things she'd already packed up and that was it. We were honestly blown away by the level of service from Megan, Mia and the whole team, the package was a terrific value and we're so happy we had all that support!

Expérience fantastique: Megan was truly our wedding fairy godmother – my #1 tip to all friends who are getting married is to have a wedding planner, and for that wedding planner to be Megan. Most people describe wedding planning as a stressful activity, but I never found that to be the case because she took care of everything. She made decision making easy and straight forward, and kept us on track with both timeline and budget. The few small (inevitable) issues that crept up on the day of the wedding, I only found out about after the fact. She planned my wedding with the same care and attention to detail that I imagine she would pay to her own. Thanks to COVID, Megan ended up essentially planning our wedding twice. She stayed on top of the ever-changing government regulations leading up to our event and helped us ensure our guests remained healthy and everyone felt comfortable. She also didn’t charge us anything extra even though I’m sure she ended up working way more hours than she would have if we had been able to stay with our ‘Plan A’ event. That brings me to her rates – they are extremely fair. Any discounts she gets from vendors (in our case this included our DJ, florist, and rentals) she passed on to us. She is active in the Calgary Weddings community and has relationships with a ton of vendors. This allowed her to recommend companies that were pleasant to work with but also reasonably priced and that matched our vision for the event. I could go on but I think you get the idea. I don’t plan on getting married again but am hoping that Megan will venture outside of weddings to help us throw whatever our next event is – probably an anniversary celebration with all our friends and family once the pandemic is over.
