From the very beginning, she was patient, kind, and unbelievably supportive—even with my tight budget, my lack of inspiration, and my endless indecisiveness. For planning, Amelia was so amazing to work with: she helped us coordinate so many details across the venue and with our many vendors, both for the year of planning leading up to the wedding, as well as on the day-of. She was super responsive and responsible, and had answers to all of our questions throughout the whole process. We really felt assured that things would run smoothly in their hands, and that took a lot of stress off of us. For decor, Fino really helped us bring our vision to life. We really appreciated the attention to detail in all of the references we sent, and the iterations with super detailed mock-ups. In the end, we felt it looked even better than we imagined -- with all the beautiful flowers, candles, chandeliers, drapes, and everything all coming together. It was a huge effort, coming to Banff all the way from Vancouver, and it turned out so great. Thank you so much for everything!

Fantastic experience: My wife and I planned a wedding for august 2024. We are very planning oriented people by nature, and would consider ourselves organized folks. However because our venue was not in the same city as where we lived, we decided to get a planner. Fiona at FinoDecor was an excellent professional. She guided us through the process, through proficient english as well as Chinese (which was an important requirement for us). Fiona walked us through the general timeline, and clearly had lots of experience with the minor and major details. Much of our communication was via Skype, but our in person visit to the showroom was very encouraging. Comms where prompt and efficient, and Fiona is good at keeping us on pass with regards to decision making (I appreciate this very much, as wedding decision can often waver.) the showroom was definitely a great moment for us, as it put the scale what the vision was going to be, and gave us clearer ideas than could be achieved with virtual visits. On the day of the wedding, Fiona and her team were on top of the coordination with vendors, scheduling, and “crisis handling”. We didn’t have any major hiccups, and the ceremony was smooth sailing. Fiona and her crew also stayed and coordinated with clean-up, and took responsibility for a lot of things the bride and I were probably unaware of. This is the mark of a good planner/day of coordinator. The fact that we didn’t even know of any major issues is a good sign that someone was taking care of things behind the scenes. We originally wanted to have a tiny elopement, and didn’t fancy a large wedding, due to stress, cost, and the shear amount of work needed. But working with Fiona and the rest of our vendors, we realized our wedding was manageable and well worth it. As newly weds post-wedding, I can confidently say Finodecor made our lives a lot less stressed in the months and weeks Leading up to the wedding. The experience was once-in-a-lifetime, and we have Fiona and her team to thank.

Fantastic experience: Fino decorated the reception for our wedding. Renee, Fiona and Nina were so kind and incredibly responsive whenever I sent an email. Whenever there were issues they let me know and met with me whenever I had any concerns. They did an absolutely beautiful job. The flower arrangements were more beautiful then I had imagined and they included types of flowers that I didn't even think of. Thank you for making our wedding such a beautiful event. Our guests were impressed and took so many photos of it all. Fiona also went out of her way to help us deliver some linens when the hotel had requested them last minute. She's amazing. We went with a customized option that gave us more flexibility compared to other decor companies and still stayed within our budget. We had also gone to them for our florals and they executed the colour scheme and style perfectly. They were an absolute pleasure to work with and especially kind and patient when it came to our planning process. I would recommend them in a heartbeat!
