Fantastic experience: Before we went with Sherry as our Day-of-coordinator, we had a good amount of wedding planning already done. However, after we began working with Sherry we realized there was so many minor details we either overlooked or never would have thought about. Fantastic experience: Sherry and Dawn at Aleia Wedding are amazing! We hired Aleia Weddings for our Day-Of Coordinating, but it comes with 3 months ahead communication as well. Sherry communicated firmly, honestly, and lovingly about everything. She is super responsive via email OR phone call! On the day, Sherry and Dawn ran around keeping everything so in check that we didn't worry about anything. They were also able to make last minute adjustments very quickly for two sudden extra guests. Thank you Aleia Wedding team for running our beautiful wedding day. Fantastic experience: Aleia Weddings was recommended to me by a friend of a friend, as I was planning a Vancouver wedding out of Toronto. The experience couldn't have been more seamless. This was the best investment I could have made in my wedding. Sherry's attention to detail planned for every small thing so I was able to fully enjoy my wedding day! She made me think about things I hadn't even considered throughout the planning process. She captured the vision of my wedding so quickly and guided me to great vendor recommendations. She was even the one to recommend the venue we ended up choosing (and absolutely loved!) Sherry was also clearly very experienced. She provided guidance in decisions like wedding cake and reception program. We held our rehearsal with both her and Dawn, and it was a game-changer. Fantastic experience: We weren't expecting too much from a wedding coordinator. Others recommended it, so we decided to learn more. We interviewed several coordinators but didn't feel excited about it. But, after meeting with Sherry, her fun, bubbly, and energetic personality and her knowledge about the industry made us seal the deal with her. She is informative, super detail oriented, and made us feel at ease. We learned a lot and felt confident Sherry would take care of the details and help us enjoy our day. Planning the little details was already stressful enough, on top of work and other responsibilities. She asked thoughtful questions and saw unforeseen things that most people wouldn't have thought about. It was everything I had hoped for on the wedding day but better. She even put together all of the decor details like I had envisioned and coordinated with my florist to suggest I place my flowers elsewhere so they would be in the photographs. I know the timing, like photography, went a bit long but Sherry pivoted quickly and found a solution. Everybody after the wedding told me it was one of the most organized and fun weddings they've ever attended and complimented Sherry and her assistant on a job well done. Fantastic experience: We had the pleasure of working with Sherry of Aleia Weddings for my wedding in August 2022. I have only great things to say about working with Sherry. We hired her day-of coordination services but she went above and beyond her scope of work. Her attention to detail is unbelievable. She was respectful with how we wanted our day to be like and she asked all the right questions to make sure our timeline for the day made sense. For our rehearsal, we had Sherry and Dawn present. They made everyone feel comfortable and were courteous and polite to all our family members and gave great advise for walking down the aisle. As for our wedding day, both Sherry and Dawn looked after us. They make sure everything was taken care of so we could relax and enjoy. Fantastic experience: We hired Sherry as our day-of-wedding coordinator. She was super organized from the get go. She was on top of details that I hadn't thought of and I can't say enough about her timeline/timeliness. I am a very organized person and I had full trust in Sherry's abilities based on these attributes she displayed consistently. Before the ceremony, she worried about the weather when the rest of us removed the concept of potential bad weather from our repertoire. It was because of her (and QE Park) that we were able to rent the QE Conservatory at the last min and therefore have our core pics done indoors before the ceremony. It rained cats and dogs and our outdoor pics were a no go. (Thank you Sherry!) Bottom line: Sherry allowed us to relax and enjoy our day because we had full trust in her and her abilities. Other important notes: she was professional and friendly, at every point!

Fantastic experience: My partner and I got married in 2018 and we were so PRESENT thanks to Sherry at Aleia Weddings. One of our goals was to be able to enjoy the wedding day talking to friends, family, out of town guests without worrying about logistics. We told Sherry our day of to do's (paying vendors, giving gifts to volunteers, etc) and she took care of it all. We didn't have to worry about anything. She was so organized and we got lots of compliments about the smooth flow of the day! At the start of planning, Sherry sent us a comprehensive questionnaire that helped us fine tune our program for both the ceremony and the reception. She was easy to talk to and available for questions and recommendations. Even though she has a lot of experience, she didn't push anything on us. She waited for our questions and worked with us to create the wedding we wanted. She also asks really great questions that made us tighten our program more. Lastly, we had 200 guests, 2 locations and a lot of out of town guests and it was seamless thanks to Sherry's tact, efficiency and warmth. She was able to help gather folks (especially at the rehearsal) in a kind manner and made them feel welcome. Would recommend Aleia Weddings to folks getting married!!

Fantastic experience: Aleia Weddings was simply amazing! I employed their services for both the wedding rehearsal and day-of wedding, and what a difference it made! I literally just socialized with family, friends, and out of town guests, while Sherry coordinate with the minister, the musicians, my volunteers. It was sweat, stress and drama-free! She herded both sides of our entourage, family and friends, kids, toddlers, etc, all the while keeping her poise and control over the situation. Ours was a Chinese-Latino wedding, with 250 guests, from 3 continents, lots of kids, 3 languages spoken during both events, and Sherry remained unfazed. It could've been a total mess, but she communicated each person's role during the rehearsal and on the wedding day everything was executed beautifully! Even the caterer was impressed - she coordinated the various dietary preferences and needs ahead of time, and even thought of the left-over food so none would go to waste! We got tons of compliments on how organized and professional everything went, I even had people asking to buy the template we followed, so they can use it for their wedding! Beyond impressed! I've recommended Aleia Weddings to anyone I know who's getting married.

Everyone had commented on how we were the most relaxed bride and groom they had ever seen – I can guarantee having the right help will do that for you. As a wedding floral designer, we’re used to being the ones that deal with all the set-up and prep, and making sure everything is in order; this time we couldn’t – it was our wedding! We had worked with Sherry before from other weddings, and knowing we had entrusted the behind the scenes into her care completely put us at ease. We had expected CHAOS with a procession that consisted of 28 children (ranging from ages 2 to 10), but were so amazed at how efficiently and smoothly everything went. With that many children and with anything involving guests, being on time was essential for us (tardiness being one of our pet peeves!) Sherry not only made that possible, but made sure it was enjoyable, worry-free, and as a result – memorable.
