Expérience fantastique: We hired Rainbow as our month-of coordinator and couldn’t have been happier! First off, she was incredibly helpful right from our first meeting (well before the month of) in making suggestions for vendors, setting timelines, etc. We are both busy professionals, and arguably needed a full-on wedding planner but Rainbow helped with so much more than we expected that we were able have the perfect wedding! Her experience showed as we got closer to the date as she had previously worked with our venue, photographers, and other vendors and so was able to seamlessly coordinate everything. On the day off, her and her team (thanks Jing!) helped keep us on time, set up the venue perfectly, and took care of everything so that my bride and I were able to fully relax and enjoy the day with our guests! Expérience fantastique: Working with Rainbow as our month of coordinator was such a blessing for our big day. She's the reason why I was able to be a chill bride that everyone said I was. My sister used her for her wedding and recommended, whatever I spend on, it should be on a coordinator and she worked with Rainbow! To all my friends, I'd give the same advice, Rainbow is the way to go! She is detail oriented and super organized and was on top of it the month before and even earlier than that. She did all the communications between my vendors to ensure everyone knew where they needed to be the day of! She create the timelines and made sure everyone was on track. I just followed her schedule the day of with no other worries in my head. She was also my emcee for reception and she made it so fun for my family and friends and kept the energy up! For someone looking for someone that can speak both Cantonese and English, she is your gal!

Expérience fantastique: We hired Rainbow as a day of coordinator and she was exceptional. We had no idea what we were doing and were still making changes to the schedule until the last minute and Rainbow still somehow managed to make it work. She was always so kind and non judgemental about our tight budget, and always kept it in mind. She kept us very realistic about what would be possible and always gave us alternatives for cheaper options that still felt as luxurious. I never got the feeling that she tried to get us to add money nor judged us for things we decided to do that were not as traditional/cheaper. I think every other review has said a lot about how dedicated and hardworking she is and I whole heartedly agree. But I think I would really like to stress how much she is there for YOU. On the day of she went above and beyond to stand up against other vendors and even (though well intentioned) parents for OUR vision and what WE wanted. She really made sure that we didn't have to stress and that we didn't get pressured by others. Without her I don't think I would have been able to have my first dance at magical as it was. Her team was so organized during the wedding and I'm so thankful that she did her best to accommodate the language barrier my extended family had. I am forever grateful and my only regret would be not booking her for at least partial planning. To Rainbow and her team thank you so much, you have no idea how much we appreciate your help and effort.

Expérience fantastique: Rainbow and her team are phenomenal. I did not stress once during the day. She allowed me to be a guest and enjoy my own wedding. The day flowed seamlessly. I had a wedding with a very large bridal party (17!) and Rainbow was so organized - we were even ahead of schedule which never happens! She is always one step ahead and anticipates my every move. I could not recommend Rainbow enough. If you are starting to look into your wedding, this is your sign that you must book her!

Expérience fantastique: We want to thank Rainbow and her team for helping with the month-of coordination of our wedding at Langdon Hall this past weekend. We also hired Rainbow to be our MC since many of our guests spoke Cantonese, and Rainbow could run the event in both English and Chinese. From the beginning of hire, Rainbow was overall responsive in answering all the questions that we had. I am a pretty organized person myself and did not need much help picking out my own vendors, so the month-of coordination package was perfect for us. I appreciated how Rainbow helped answer my questions throughout the process, came up with a detailed scheduled (and revised it multiple times to match my changes and needs) and connected all our vendors in the last two weeks before the wedding. Rainbow's attention to detail is impeccable. The day of the wedding, Rainbow and her assistant Amy, were key players in helping everything run smoothly. She kept us on schedule (and sometimes even ahead) and directed us clearly in where we needed to be. Overall, it was stress-free, and having a day-of coordinator really helped us to enjoy the day! Rainbow was an excellent MC and played such fun games during our reception. The flow of the reception was so amazing thanks to her! Thank you Rainbow and team :)

Expérience fantastique: My wife and I hired Rainbow and her team for our small downtown Toronto wedding. The wedding was held at a restaurant with a short ceremony followed by dinner and dancing. 60ish people for dinner plus another 25 for the latenight part. Our primary reason for getting a coordinator was to 1) have someone on site on the day-of so that we didn't have to worry about logistics and 2) help us make a detailed schedule for the day. Otherwise, we were pretty much independent and organized all other aspects ourselves: restaurant venue, DJ, makeup/hair, photographer, decor, etc. Rainbow and her team fulfilled our expectations. Mirabel was our on-site coordinator and she did an EXCELLENT job. She had a great attitude, she was punctual, detail oriented, and flexible. We couldn't ask for more- we really liked working with her. Our only challenge (and this is partly on us) was in communicating expectations about the pre-event planning ("month-of"). In retrospect, it seems that Rainbow was expecting to be a little more hands-on with coordinating our vendors. Whereas we planned, from the beginning, to do this completely on our own. For example, our final meetings with our vendors and our decor decisions were done last minute and without informing her (because we thought this was completely our responsibility and we were ok with this timeline). This caused some tension, understandably, because we were not meeting Rainbow's timeline. So, really, it was an issue with communicating our mutual expectations of how the planning was going to happen. Overall, the wedding day was flawless. And we have no regrets about hiring Rainbow. A day-of coordinator was essential for allowing us to live in the moment on the day.

From minute zero Rainbow was already going above and beyond to make sure our wedding would be a success. Rainbow expertly coordinated with multiple vendors and our wedding venue leading up to our special day to save us a lot of stress. Speaking from personal experience for our wedding, she drew on a wealth of experience from managing many prior weddings to preemptively deal with issues. We also had Rainbow as an emcee as well and people loved how she livened up the reception dinner with wedding games and events. You can be certain she’ll be genuinely invested in making sure your wedding is a success. Right from the first meeting Rainbow was personable and knowledgeable and one of the things that really stood out was her spreadsheets and her being highly organized which gave us a lot of peace of mind. She also connected us with wonderful vendors whom she’s worked with in the past leading to less stress outsourcing our own. Leading up to the wedding she made sure to follow up with every vendor to make sure everything was taken care of. Day of wedding she was with me making sure everything went smoothly. One of the biggest things that she did was my high heel broke literally 10 minutes before our first dance and entrance and she took it and sowed the strap back on and had fixed right on time. Whoever is reading this there are a lot of planners out there but if you are looking for someone that is organized, will be there with you every step of the way and that gives you peace of mind, we highly recommend Rainbow.

Expérience fantastique: We originally booked Rainbow and her team for a 2021 wedding which was cancelled due to COVID. We ended up having a backyard wedding and had a full wedding in 2024. Rainbow was gracious enough to help with both weddings and honoured her 2021 prices as well. We had a great experience and more importantly, a stress free wedding day.

I’m a critical person and inclined to complain about service, but I can say without reservation that Rainbow and her team provided an incredibly high level of competence for my event and did so with grace and kindness. What I generally expect is to be disappointed. What I do not expect is to have my hopes exceeded. In a matter of two or three weeks Rainbow organized a spectacular event at my house that blew away all my friends. My hopes were certainly exceeded by the service provided by this lovely lady and her team. I recommend her to the highest extent I’m able.

When the day of the wedding finally came, although we had everything planned, we wouldn't have been able to keep-up with everything if it wasn't for Rainbow! From the getting ready photos and the tea ceremony, all the way up to the reception, Rainbow kept us on track with our schedule and gave us useful reminders to keep the day moving. She was very attentive with details and we really appreciate the effort and care she put towards our wedding. During the reception, she was our MC and our guests absolutely LOVED her. Even our DJ came up to use after to tell us how impressed he was with the way Rainbow was able to rev up our crowd! Rainbow is a gem; If you are looking for a planner and coordinator who can work seamlessly with all the vendors yet have time to put a lot of care into the smallest of details, I would definitely recommend Rainbow!

Expérience fantastique: We had a great experience working with Rainbow as our wedding planner. She was professional, knowledgeable, and had good recommendations on vendors. She made sure to work with our vision and budget. On the day of our wedding, Rainbow was key to helping our day run smoothly and made sure it ran like clockwork (and during a debrief with the venue, they were super appreciative of this as we were told some planners don't really stick to schedule). She was prompt in ensuring all the vendors knew where and what they had to do in the days leading up to the wedding and was great at follow-up. Would recommend!

She was responsive to our changing requests and had helpful suggestions for the itinerary. We cannot imagine having to plan a wedding without her. We appreciate how organized the wedding was. The itinerary was helpful for all vendors and family members. She and her assistant assembled the menus, favors, escort cards, and much more. She kept the vendors on track with timing and payment. Having her allowed both my husband and I to actually enjoy the wedding! Would definitely recommend her.

It was very well planned and everything went smoothly. Our wedding turned out to be super fun with all the games and prizes that she planned and most importantly she kept our guests happy and entertained throughout the night. Expérience fantastique: We were so blessed to have had Rainbow as our wedding planner! Every little detail from the rehearsal, to the ceremony, to the reception went so smoothly. We really appreciated how organized Rainbow is. I was so anxious about how the day-of would go, but with Rainbow's help, literally nothing went wrong and everything went according to plan. Our wedding was in Calgary, AB, and we had a lot of religious restrictions. Rainbow flew to Calgary a few days prior to our wedding to make sure everything was in order. She was incredibly accommodating, respectful of our religion, and was constantly updating our wedding spreadsheet to reflect the latest changes. We were so surprised that the day was meeting Rainbow's hour-by-hour timeline. Nothing and nobody was late, everybody made it to the ceremony and reception on time, and even the reception wrapped up at pretty much the time that Rainbow had set. I personally have issues with trying to control everything (lol), but with Rainbow, I really felt like I was able to let loose and just enjoy our special day, fully confident in Rainbow's expertise. I had choosen the pick "3" package; I was drawn to Rainbow because of the previous aesthetically pleasing weddings she's done in the past. She ended up doing an incredible job for our wedding. It was exactly how we had planned it to be, and the day went by seamlessly. Although our schedule was very tight, the minute we arrived at the venue, her team had already had everything set up and we didn't have to do anything but enjoy the day. Expérience fantastique: We hired Rainbow for our wedding a few weeks ago. We used her Month-Of Services and we could not be happier. She coordinated with all of our vendors and the venue to make sure everything was organized and everything ran smoothly. We got a lot of feedback from our guests about how well our wedding flowed and a big part of that was thanks to Rainbow's planning and ability to move large crowds of people into the right places when needed. We were a bit all over the place as most couples are when they are planning their wedding, but Rainbow did an excellent job in pushing us when we needed it and gave us a bit of space when we needed it as well. You can tell she is very experienced in what she does. She was also the emcee for our wedding and she went back and forth from English to Cantonese seamlessly. We would recommend Rainbow and her team to any new couple getting married.

She is incredibly detailed, and the day of schedule alone was enough to make me want to hire her to organize my entire life if she could. She reached out to all my vendors month of, so that leading up to the wedding they could contact her instead of myself and my family. It took a ton of pressure off. On top of that she helped to style the photos at my home and my husbands home the morning of the wedding, and made sure the decor at the church and reception venues was perfect! Expérience fantastique: Where to start .... I have only good things to say about Rainbow Chan and her team. I decided to go with Rainbow for my month of coordination early on in my wedding planning once I found out how detailed she is. It was easier to communicate with her and to get feedback when needed. I absolutely love the schedule of the wedding day she made for us. It was exactly what I needed since it detailed so much of the day. I had a full day wedding with two ceremonies and one reception for 350+ people. The day couldn't have gone any smoother if it weren't for Rainbow and her team that coordinated for the day. They're all super stars and I can't thank them enough for they efforts and passion. I highly recommend!!

Expérience fantastique: Rainbow did partial planning of our wedding that took place one month ago at The Old Mill. We started our wedding planning quite close to the wedding date itself and as such, we knew we wanted someone who was organized, detail-oriented, and Rainbow excelled in this regard. Though we had selected 3 areas to have Rainbow help us, she did not hesitate to provide some opinion even outside these areas. Though we started the planning during the midst of wedding season, Rainbow was accessible even through whatsapp and made herself completely available as we got closer to the wedding date. I have a whole different level of appreciation for wedding planning as a result of working with Rainbow and having to plan my own wedding. The planning stage is important, but execution on the day of is also vital. Though not every detail worked out perfectly on the day of, such as a few hiccups with seating arrangement, having Rainbow with us from the early afternoon all the way to late evening definitely relieved tension from me as a bride and I was able to enjoy the happiest day of my life. I would encourage every bride to have a clear vision of what she and her partner want for their wedding and to clearly communicate that to all vendors involved. And finally, I can't emphasize how important it is to have someone like Rainbow support the bride and groom on their big day, trust me you will be thankful! Expérience fantastique: Rainbow was a life saver for our wedding. We had a combined Chinese and traditional wedding with multiple events happening all in the same day. I am generally a very anxious person and Rainbow was able to help ease that anxiety and ensure the day went smoothly. Furthermore, we did not hire a florist or a decorator as part of our wedding and had sourced these items ourselves. As a result Rainbow was responsible for running the day of events and as well decorating the entire venue from the wedding arch, aisle, to the welcome tables and guest tables. It was because of her that our wedding had flowed so seamlessly and looked so beautiful as well. Our wedding had multiple aspects going on at the same time (donut wall, dessert table, live dragon beard candy making etc), extremely detailed decorations and not to mention multiple dress changes. Needless to say, she had a lot on her plate but she was able to coordinate every minor detail and ensure perfection. We received countless praises at the end of the day for our wedding. We came to Rainbow with no clue about the wedding planning process other than knowing we had to book the venue and order our wedding gown and suits. Rainbow helped us with every challenge we had during the wedding planning process. Due to the increased number of guests, we had to book a new venue after Rainbow had already drafted our wedding itinerary. Rainbow came with us for every meeting we had with our new venue, and started the wedding itinerary all over again, with no complaining at all! Sean and I were both busy with our own business during the planning process. Rainbow had attended the meeting with our décor vendor and florist on our behalf instead. All we did is providing our general idea, and saying yes or no, but the result turned out to be stunning and we are really amazed!! Expérience fantastique: One of the best investments for our wedding was hiring Rainbow Chan Weddings & Events. My husband and I are both not very good at organizing and planning things and this was one of the best decisions we ever made. We initially wanted to hire Rainbow to be our emcee for the night but after meeting with her, we recognized her passion for wedding planning and decided that we wanted to hire her to be our coordinator. We went with the month-of coordination package as we were advised by many of our friends who got married before us a month-of coordinator was key to a successful wedding. AND BOY were they right! Thanks to Rainbow and her team, we had the perfect wedding. Not to mention, Tiffany the lead and Maribel WERE JUST AMAZING! They ensured that I, the bride would have a stress free wedding! AND THEY DELIVERED! Nobody came up to me with any inquiries that day except for them making sure I was okay with any minor changes or if I needed anything! Tiffany kept me calmed and told me to keep smiling and I didn’t feel any stress whatsoever and for that I am grateful. The entire day went smoothly and for the moments where we went over time, we somehow managed to make it up and everything we wanted was executed perfectly! Rainbow and her team are very professional, super responsive when it came to communicating (especially when we email back and forth so many times within an hour because of minor changes), very detailed oriented and without them we would most definitely have missed a lot of important things.
